The list isn't a divine manuscript, it can be added to and subtracted from depending on what ya'll feel like.

That's more or less it. After a certain point, it becomes an actual plate of the WTC shot pre-2001.

JJ is better at movies than TV.

I loved the musical noir episode.

The season one cliffhanger was amazing, and I sat next to the guy who did it while at Zoic and picked his brain about how.

These are my statements about Fringe.

So you prefer this to Salvation?

There's some weird audio errors that happen infrequently in this episode, that sound like quarter-second-long skips. Not sure what caused them, and they haven't happened since. Hopefully it's not too distracting.

Our commentary for The Fountain is going be very, very good. Already have a guest for that one lined up - not a celebrity - that will do unto Fountain what Eddie does unto Full Metal Jacket.

One day in his youth, Trey decided to become a space pirate. He created modern aeronautics over a sandwich and a cigarette, and filled his craft with books and weapons.

Nine hours later he accidentally created a government instead.

Well, whatever vision you had being written off and replaced with some compromise to the detriment of the project.

Tell us about the time you've been the most creatively screwed over.

Gregory is not allowed to talk about the time I messed up his script for a short film by actually making the damned thing.

Anything we should do differently than last time? Was the camera placement optimal? We could probably have it at head level, but it'd be favoring the closest heads, naturally.

On Sunday, July 4th, at 11 a.m. PST, we will do our second chat room and webcam show.

We will be watching Independence Day, and I am truly fucking excited, because it's one of my favorite movies.

We've put the time early-ish so American listeners can still blow shit up and eat hamburgers in the evening, and listeners farther east can...also listen, quietly thinking we're all retarded while being their typical jealous selves, completely without explosives and beer.

I'm curious if there's anything the folks who were at The Core would like to see us do differently on a technical level. Suggest away.

Instrumental performances in rock songs. I come from a more melodic and compositional place, so it's not necessarily moments of extreme talent (although all are talented,) but moments of excellent instrumental breakdowns in the context of the song in question.

1. Ben Folds, piano, All U Can Eat. Link to moment. (I can't recommend enough that you watch the whole song.)

2. Pulp, guitar with reverb pedal, The Fear. Link to moment. (Great song, but "This is Hardcore" is even better.)

3. The Birthday Massacre, reverb pad synth, To Die For. Link to moment. (If you're not into these guys yet, take my word for it and listen to this.)

4. Kaki King, acoustic guitar, Playing with Pink Noise. Link to moment. (Holy fucking shit.)

5. ...running out of things.

I really liked Altered States. Not sure what there is to say about it, though.
