Oh man, I was listening to The Terminator commentary, and at some point you guys joke about doing a Back to the Future 2-like sequel to Terminator...  neutral

"11-year-old Davey, whose mother is dead and whose father is preoccupied with his own problems, has retreated into a world of video games and an imaginary hero-pal, the swashbuckling superspy Jack Flack. When an FBI agent about to be murdered slips him a video cartridge containing top-secret data, Davey is suddenly plunged into the intrigue and danger of real-life espionage. No adult believes his story, so he must run a gauntlet of violence and villainy aided only by a younger girl and the encouragement of "Jack Flack" at his side. How long can a comic-book role model guide him through this encounter with reality?"

Holy shit, this movie is INSANE! Elliot from E.T. is running away from agents that are trying to murder him and take his Atari game. Oh yeah, and the kid is a paranoid schizophrenic... he has an imaginary super spy friend "Jack Flack" who tells him what to do. At some point Jack Flack tells the kid to kill his enemies! Written by Tom "Fright Night" Holland and directed by the Australian Hitchcock Richard Franklin (Road Games, Psycho 2) Cloak & Dagger is like a Walt Disney film made by Alfred Hitchcock. It's an absolute must-watch. A kids film that Hollywood simply doesn't make today...

I had the thought aswell. My thinking was that the voice and tone for Ultron needed to be... younger, for lack of a better word. Less weight, more energy. I guess more the Tom Hiddleston character rather than Spader. Like a teenager who thinks they know everything but lacks the experience to contextualize it.

I prefer comic book Ultron's personality. That's the Ultron I grew up with. Classic killer robot.

Sam Raimi admits he messed up with SPIDER-MAN 3 (and OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL) on the Nerdist Podcast.

https://www.nerdist.com/pepisode/nerdis … sam-raimi/

Sam Raimi: It’s a movie that just didn’t work very well. I tried to make it work, but I didn’t really believe in all the characters, so that couldn’t be hidden from people who loved Spider-Man. If the director doesn’t love something, it’s wrong of them to make it when so many other people love it. I think [raising the stakes after SPIDER-MAN 2] was the thinking going into it, and I think that’s what doomed us. I should’ve just stuck with the characters and the relationships and progressed them to the next step and not tried to top the bar …

Sam Raimi: [But] directors don’t like to talk about their bad films.

Chris Hardwick: I don’t think that ‘bad’ is the right word.

Sam Raimi: Awful!

I can't wait to see a good fanedit of Hobbit...

The 2008 remake of DAY OF THE DEAD was god-awful.

Don't bother tracking it down... just watch this video to see how bad it is.
