Re: Cool vids...again.
I can see Teague building one of these, just to hook up to a theremin.
And how long before we have kids figuring out how to make this work with their trunk lids?

And an entire plethora of film ideas just poured into my brain, holy crap that was cool.
This forum should be right smack in the middle of the demographic they are going for.
So do Ryan and Dorkman know that Mark Hamill (read a script that) referenced them by name?

What happens when a magnet is dropped through a copper pipe?
This is a fun, charming short. Worth 5 minutes of your time
Wow. That is amazing and I love it but did nobody involved with that know that that music is used in Viagra commercials? Or was it intentional? Meh, watching five times anyway.
This is a cute idea, nicely done and pretty amusing!

Might have been posted before, but this short animated video is awesome on every conceivable level, 2 pilots engaged in a dogfight used as an illustration of hate and losing your humanity.

Consider this the new Voight-Kampff test, because if this doesn't amuse you, you have no soul.
I'm happy knowing that even if I get absolutely nothing else out of moving to Canada, I have at least discovered this.
Not typically a fan of Kimmel's stuff, but this was brilliant.
A new Star Trek Continues episode (and IMO the best one yet).
I'm just impressed they're churning these out while Phase II ground to a halt for awhile. They seem to have started up again, though, clearing out the already shot episodes and doing a kickstarter to fund new episodes with the new Captain Kirk.

I need to catch up on these, I've only seen the one I did a few shots on.
Yes yes yes. Two people showed me this yesterday independent of each other. I told Vapes that I'd forgotten some of the sillier bits in the OT, particularly the Han shoulder tap thing. He said that they're generally light bits in otherwise serious scenes, but strung out like that is a great way of showcasing them.

Yayyy new Sequelitis! (hating on one of my favorite games, but still yay)
He's got a few good points. Waiting being the main one. I can totally see that some of the game takes an annoying amount of time to do small things. (Even if that doesn't bother me at all)
10:30 I feel like this is related to the sliding metal things he complains about at 12:45. I thought looking around the room in 3d space and strategizing how to avoid moving objects like metal blades or boulders was a (small) puzzle unto itself along with finding switches or eyeballs to shoot. Oh well.
(I dont feel smart enough to articulate this very well)
18:28 I do. I thought that having a part of the dungeon that taught you how to use your new item was actually kind of cool. Having each boss test you in your mastery of that item was satisfying (to me at least).
22:09 in or so, he talks about how he doesn't care about the story and want to go explore and do things. Here's where I just don't agree. I love the story. It gave me a reason to care. I didnt finish LttP mainly because I didn't find it interesting to continue.
