Thanks, man. Paulou, Dorkman, and Ryan played with this tool, and everyone seemed fairly happy with it. (Paul especially, and Mike used it on like ~100 shots with his own tricks on top.) The methodical "bit by bit" breakdown was what I was most proud of. Nail every little sub-effect and let the user mix them and tweak to taste.

I am fairly VFX dumb, so my directive to Teague was just make it full frame and beat it with the VHS stick. Viola.

I've been going through snagging various VHS artifacts off of Internet Archive, and wondered if it'd be worth throwing it up somewhere for folks to snag? It's about 700mb- which probably says more about my compression than anything else.
