Topic: Photograph your house exterior!

As I've been told I live in a beautiful place in the world (Lofoten, Norway, look it up), I want to know what you guys see when you open your front door. As such, take a panoramic image of what your front yard(or parking lot, depending on where you live) looks like. Could be fun.

If you don't know how to take panoramic images, it's simple. Take multiple photographs in a horizontal fashion, and use pano for iPhone(or something similar for Android), or use Photoshop's Photomerge tool.

I see a giant bush bout 2 feet from my face (yes, thats what she said) with my neighbours house behind it. Yeeeeah for basements suites with shitty side door entrances!

So I just made my own pano. I'm back at my parents' right now, and to be honest, the view is much more interesting than that from my apartment in Montpellier.

This is in a little town called Digne-les-Bains (now this could be a fun thing to hear you guys pronounce), south-eastern France, in what we call the pre-Alps. When you look south, you have the low hills of Provence, and when you look north, you can already see some high mountains. Quite a diverse landscape.

I'll have you know the picture was taken this summer, and right now it's whiter than FFFFFF out there. I'm loving the pre-alps style too. I guess you don't really appreciate your surroundings until you're either old, or coming back after being awol for years.

I'll shoot a panorama tomorrow, though I'll have to figure out some other method to stitch them. I'm sure there's a freeware tool to do it.

The front view of my house is just a street full of many nearly identical houses.

As you know... har, there are pano apps for mobile devices too, you don't need a fancy-schmanzy DSLR. But yeah, having a dude outside at all times would scare me.

Since I'm doing the "starving screenwriter" routine right now, it's pretty much required that I live on a boat at the marina.   

It's the equivalent of living in a van down by the river, but seems classier somehow.
