Are giant flying mechanical snakes a thing now?  There was one in Transformers 3, several in Avengers and it looked like they had some in Battleship (from the trailers).

Also, Coulson made me immediately think of Wash and how Wash SHOULD have died.  I don't mind killing characters, just make it count is all I'm saying.

Actually I think it was more moving than if one of the superheroes had been killed.
