I drop off the face of the planet for six months (ish), and when I get back the fucking road trip we all shot (checks footage timestamp), almost AN ENTIRE FUCKING YEAR AGO isn't done yet? Fuck you people!
No seriously though, I've been in kind of a bad place the last several months, hence my absence around here, and catching up on this thread has put a huge smile on my face. Thanks for taking this on Tom, I hope it's going well.

Fun fact though: I shot my road trip footage on the way to EPCOT, hence the red shirt in that video. I bought it especially for road trip, and while I still have it, I don't think I've worn it since. Something about feeling expendable...

If anyone of you have little-to-no snow and can shoot some car exteriors, that'd be great. Just some shots of a car driving around. Thus far, all we have is interior shots, and it's feeling a little.... well, crammed. Doesn't need to be one car, so long as it's black. Let's at least try and match Teague's car in ONE way.

I can do it on Wednesday. My mom has a black car that I can use. Just get me a list of shots you need.
Basically whatever. Just shots of a car driving left, right, here and there. Just so we have something else than interior shots.
So, exterior of the car? I want to be clear and not give you useless footage.

Tom, can you give me an itemised list of outstanding items?
Can you show us some proof of life? Shooting vehicle exteriors is a big step up from the original project parameters; it requires at least two cars, 2 drivers, and arguably 3 passenger/shirt-doubles to do it right...and then one more somebody has to hang out the window while operating a camera.
Teague had some exteriors, can you re-use any of those?
I just had one, it was a shot of someone else's car from my window, and I just kept horizontal-flipping it to make it seem like I had an exorbitant two exterior shots.
Though I suppose I could run out with my Flip and get a few shots of various black cars from different angles and stuff. Lemme know.

My first priority will be getting the footage in sequence, gaps and all, so we can see what we're working with. Expect it to be nasty and unmatched; just looking at file sizes there's likely to be a mess of export settings.
The next job will be filling the gaps, or cutting around them and streamlining down. I'll keep the notes here, and upload to YouTube to keep everyone who's contributed in the loop.
Frankly, this isn't secret stuff. Your feedback and contribution to the editing and post process will be welcome (but orderly, damnit).
