After the former FC Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova tragically lost his battle with cancer on Friday, here's what greeted me on the website for MARCA (one of the big Spanish sports newspapers)

Nothing new, I realize, but still:  sigh.  At least the ad isn't bigger than the banner link to the memorial montage. Oh wait....

To be fair, ads tend to use keywords from the articles to form a relevant ad. I wouldn't call it irrelevant, exactly. A bit misplaced and unfortunate, sure, but certainly not irrelevant.

They can also use cookies to follow your own browsing history.  I looked at a certain desk lamp online two weeks ago and every website I visit is still trying to sell me that lamp.
