Say, Los Angelinos... Anybody know of an apartment complex that allows largish dogs in the Van Nuys area?
My niece and her boyfriend and his friend are planning to move to the LA area. The boys are actors. My niece has some prospects for her marketing degree.

There's actually quite a few that allow dogs with a deposit, usually in the 100/pet range.
It seems like it would be pretty common in SoCal, but they're having a lot of trouble. She has an interview in a couple of weeks and hopes to visit a few possibities.
Try Valley Village. I used to live there, there's some cheap apartments to within that cozy little neighborhood and a ton of dogs.

By the way, thanks for these suggestions. They got a place in that neighborhood, and my niece got a good-paying marketing job. Her boyfriend has met Pierce Brosnan and Mark Wahlberg at the country club and got parts in (non-paying) productions.
