I just figured it literally was the temp track, and they decided to go with it. I can see how it wouldn't work for some folks, but I still love it too much to be objective about it.
Also, fun fact: still using the Icarus I distress signal as my main ringtone. Yeah...
I have no idea where they're going with the end of this, if there is one. Basically they're on the run all the time, which I think will get tiring to watch. You can not have an impregnable fortress in a zombie story; eventually they have to get in, so what you're left with is a group running from place to place, with moments of safety in between. Not sure how they're going to pull that off over a long haul without it getting old.
