Just finished Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Really really great read. And I think I'll be starting Game of Thrones next.

The whole video that clip is from. It's the cast and crew video for one of the David Tennant seasons, can't remember which, some really great moments scattered throughout.

I suspected. But I figured I'd throw the offer out there just in case.

Wow, that was also great, the first little bit kinda sounds like something the Barenaked Ladies would have written for Firefly.

And Jimmy, if you have something, please do. I'm always in the mood for new music.

I'm about 20 pages away from the end of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Excellent read btw), and I'm trying to figure out what to read next.

The marathon has me pretty fired up to finally tackle LOTR, but I have A Game Of Thrones just sitting on my shelf calling my name. Thoughts?

I'm a huge fan of the Dust Bowl South era of history.  Her vocals are absolutely captivating.

This, was, astounding.

And with that I now have stuff to listen to for the rest of my day.

EDIT: I was saddened to discover this is their only really recorded song sad Any recommendations for other bands Eddie? I too love this style.

Huuuuuuuuge props to these guys, AMAZING performance.

And for some reason now I want to write a musical where the villian communicates only through dubstep hmm

Every time I watch a Haka I feel just that much more masculine. Although, that one was a bit more tame than a lot of the ones I've seen.

The really crazy ones are AMAZING.

Have you ever had one of those oddly crystallizing moments where the full realization of a truth just slams you in the face and you can see the complete understanding of it? This giant mass of flesh in front of me, whatever it happens to be, is a living, breathing animal that has a brain. It has thoughts and feelings and emotions. It can feel sad, or happy. It may not look like me; in fact it may look completely an utterly alien to me. But it still feels and thinks.

This video did this to me, and it sent a chill down my spine.

That's not just an elephant doing it's elephant thing, that's my 4 year old cousin running out at recess and jumping head first into the biggest snow drift he can find. It's just such a relatable thing, that I had to remind myself, this is a fucking elephant!, and then my previous statement kicked in.

PS. Plus baby elephants are insanely cute so win there.

Holy fuck guys. We did it. It was insane, and awesome and amazing. And we fucking made it!

The ultimate thing I haven't been able to get out of my head from today, is hope, like Trey said. With a little bit of luck and the budget of just over the average blockbuster these days, I too could make the fucking Lord of The Rings. And that is an amazing prospect.

I look forward to listening to these again when they're released!
