you know you can always ask some of the panelist to bring their own mic.  That is if they have one.  You don't want to make them mad by making them go buy one...

As for wrestling matches, I liked the Stone Cold/Bret Hart match from WM13  not my favorite but a solid match.  Randy Savage was good.

I only hear out of one ear, and about 60% at that; or so I'm told.  Whenever someone calls my name and they're not in my eye line, I start looking around trying to locate the person.  That's 180º hearing for ya.

hey teague, when you type up the description for ROTJ, could you tell us where the pause/ unpause point is?  I couldn't hear what you said during the commentary.  It sounded like everyone was talking over you when you explained it.  Thanks from maybe your only hearing -impaired listener.

I wonder if you guys think there's any validity to the argument that Lucas changed the OT because of some agreement made during the divorce.

Basically, the argument goes: Lucas changed the OT just enough so legally speaking they were considered to be different movies than what was originally released.  The reason for doing so was to keep all the money made off the movies for himself, or at least as much of it as possible since Fox would still get a sizable amount for the first movie.  I assume we are talking about some sort of deal which states whenever the star wars movies are sold, Marcia Lucas gets a percentage of the money made.

Sounds somewhat logical, but it also doesn't quite work.  I've come to the conclusion that this argument is baloney, but it might make or an entertaining bit on the podcast.  I guess you guys can get into speculating on why Lucas made the changes he did to the Special editions of the Trilogy. I kinda think that some of it was just a "fuck you" to Marcia because there are specific cuts that I remember reading Marcia said wouldn't work .

congratulations eddy!  Is this your first kid?  hope all goes well.

on the star wars se,  i'd rather erase them from my memory.  They hurt too much.  And I thought they were going to give everyone ample time to read the books and watch the LOTR flicks before doing a marathon run.

Nah, I only liked one of the characters in this and the first scene seams to be the only one that's well put together.  But I saw it sorta half-baked so... I don't know how much I can trust my own assessment of the flick...

I have my problems with the lethal weapon sequels, but the first one is almost a perfect movie.  You kids need to see it!

since you've said you shot MD on the Red Trey, I was wondering what lenses did you guys use for this production?

P.S. I pretty sure my punctuation is off on this post...

Obi- Wan should have been the character the audience sympathized with in the prequels IMO.  He should have been the on reacting to Jar- Jar in the first one.

I'm surprised you guys are actually doing Tron, what with what you said during the anniversary show.  And Karate Kid is cool.  I actually have it on Blu-Ray.  Yes, I am a dewb.  I like the music in the Karate Kid series.

Yeah, and Gregory has turned into the whiney brat 4 year old that refuses to go through potty training...

Damn it Gregory!  It's the internet, google that shit yourself.  Now quit being a bitch and move on.

On the topic at hand, I thought it was a nice flick.  Had a couple of moments that were hard to follow.  Like the night vision thing.  That confused me.  What happened there?  Without spoiling it for those who haven't seen it of course...(this should be fun!)

I thought you guys already recorded  a Tron commentary...  I remember hearing how boring some of you thought it was, specifically that part where they sit down in front of that digital pool.  2012, that should be interesting given that nothing resembling a story really happens.

that must be screwy with your budget!

me and both my parents have birthdays in March, so I kinda know what that's like.

Top 5 things you'd like to see happen on camera during DIF:

5. Somebody laughing so hard that pop shoots out their nose!

4.  The Christmas lights fall from the ceiling thereby making the group have to start over again...

3.  The cat trying to attack the camera!

2.  a skipped disc error on the rented movie.  Causing all to say WTF.

1. An Earthquake happens live on camera during a commentary!

so yeah...  Top 5 songs to sing along to in the car on your way to work.

A question and two suggestions:

Did you guys decide not to do Bladerunner because you figured you wouldn't have much to say during the commentary?

And the suggestions:  Since you all want to do classic movies your second year, how about the Godfather?

Or, you haven't done a western yet so how about The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly?
