I can dream dammit!
(including Inglourious Basterds, which is so totally in my wheelhouse it's like it was tailor made for me to love it).
I have dedicated a separate place in my brain to hate IB.
When does tit say 2 people per robot? I saw 2 pilots and 2 robots. Maybe they're next to eachother because they're not actually IN the mechs.
Sooo...Portal meets Neon Genesis Evangelion?
I'm sure he loves Inglorious Basterds though
Hey, we can't all suddenly like Death Proof! It's supposed to be an unpopular opinion.
I like Death Proof.
Now that it's out on Blu-Ray/DVD, I 'm hoping for The Dark Knight Rises from The DIF crew. I'm curious how you all felt about it.
I don't know if I want a TDKR commentary. I'd probably end up shouting at the screen everytime I'd have a different opinion, which I suspect would occur every 3 minutes
"DESCRIBE WHAT MASTER YODA LOOKS LIKE!"
"he's...he's...he's green"
"GO ON!"
"he's small"
"DOES HE LOOK LIKE A BITCH?!"
What I'm sick of is hearing how it's just around the corner (for decades now) or even worse, always "20 years away"
I think we'll be seeing this happening less and less. Thanks to the internet and sites like indiegogo or kickstarter people can leave big companies out of the equation and get funding directly from the public which will speed things up considerably.
EDIT:
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/282006 - somehow I don't think any company associated with making lightbulbs would invest in something like this.
The automobile internal combustion engine, invented in the 1890s, is still standard. They've been working on electric cars for decades but they didn't haven't achieved critical take-off in the marketplace, so to speak.
Yes, but engine is not everything:
I work out in my bedroom utilising the 1 sq meter of free space I have. No gym for me
You're all aware that men and women are different right? I'm just checking.
Patrick Stewart had some very odd ideas about "Movie Picard" being different from his TV counterpart and insisted on referring to everything as 'Sexy'
I can't wait for the scene where Cumberbatch's character gets captured and held captive on the Enterprise, but it was actually part of his plan all along!
And then Spock turns into a green rage monster!
At least we don't have to deal with Lori anymore. Season 3 has its issues but it's lightyears ahead of the previous one. In fact, you could skip S2 entirely and tell relevant bits of it in flashbacks now.
At least it's warm there.
Apparently watching this from my country would violate copyright law
Channing Tatum and Ryan Reynolds do not belong to a gender group that has historically been oppressed, otherized, and objectified. Idealized men are the powerful, complex people you want to be.
Channing and Ryan are none of these things.
Because while I might be a feminist in spite of all this, not everyone is. It's a problem.
That's pushing it a bit too far.
I mean, I like Firefly a lot. It's pretty special to me. But if given the choice, I'l watch Serenity before I'll watch any episode of Firefly.
Interesting. Why?
