Their other stuff is really good too, and totally worth checking out.

There. Now it's all downhill from here.

Well, at least I hit the maximum attainable peak.

My credentials seem to expand every time Teague retells the lightsaber power requirements story. Apparently now I was writing a thesis, maybe next time I get to be a professor. Anyway, taking the clip from TPM where Qui-Gon is melting through the blast door and making some assumptions, you can do some math and figure out possible power requirements for a lightsaber, a number I recall being in the realm of 300 Megawatts, which, in comparison, is more than enough to power an aircraft carrier.

I just drag the forum button into my url bar so it'll stay in the same tab. Yeah, it's an inconvenience, but I understand why it is the way it is.

Hey, what's with this gray bullshit‽ Give me back my classy blue!

Seriously, can we have the old blue as an option? I liked it better.

This one time, I was in a fire with both hands up an actress's dress... nah, I should wait until we do that movie.

I hate you so much when you do that. Especially because half the time, when you do do that movie, you don't tell the story.

Teague, I love your music and you should make more of it. I once again repeat: If you made an It's Godless and Beeps album, I would pay you real life money for it.

I'm amazed no one has suggested The Last Starfighter. Also, are we going to get Tron: Legacy at some point?

This conversation is a little confusing, but I think what Teague is saying is that he doesn't know how to rip the flv from the justin.tv site, so he wants someone else to do it for him, and what switch is saying is that he already did that and doesn't understand what Teague's problem is with doing it himself.

Anyway, I also grabbed it, and can happily email the flv along to whoever the hell needs it if they provide me with an email address to send it to. Or you can get something like this and download it yourself.

I was just listening to this, and this is a response to your discussion on how Leia couldn't possible remember her mother. The retcon I personally came up with is that the mother Leia remembers is Mrs. Organa, who could quite possible have died when Leia was young. Luke asks her about her mother before he tells her she's his sister, so at that point she has no reason to think Mrs. Organa isn't her real mother.

Anyway, I enjoyed Captain America about as much as G.I. Joe. It occurs to me that ShadowDuelist might be talking about some planes and missiles from G.I. Joe, not Captain America, which shows how much I remember about it...

Yeah, I'm talking about G.I. Joe. In the commentary, Trey says they probably got the mach 6 number by doing the math to find how fast he would have to go to catch the missiles, and I'm proving him wrong. When he's in Moscow the other missile will hit in 12 minutes, and he has to travel roughly 4870 miles in that time. Doing that math, he has to travel at around mach 38.5. Assuming he can accelerate to that speed instantaneously. I'm saying they got the mach 6 number because Dr. Evil Face says something like, "Once these missiles reach their top speed of mach 5, nothing the Joes have can catch them!"

By the way, it would take about an hour to fly from Moscow To Washington D.C. at mach 6. I'm assuming they say the plane goes to mach 6 because before that they mention the missiles go to mach 5.
