That movie still sinks.
I would be more excited for the new Superman movie if it starred Nic Cage!
Wow, Spock singing about Bilbo...
This is most illogical.
Clive Barker Spearheading Nightbreed Television Series
http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/16 … ion-series
Stupid question number 256 but will Nightbreed Directors cut be in Blu ray or DVD?
Hopefully both.
On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Mark Miller and Russell Cherrington premiered the phenomenal, "Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut," a composite cut from the theatrical release plus multiple working prints that more closely reflects Clive Barker's original script and the book on which Nightbreed is based.
After the screening, Mark, Russell, Craig Scheffer (Boone) and Anne Bobby (Lori) gave a Q&A. The Cabal Cut includes a cut scene of Lori in a nightclub preforming "Johnny Get Angry" and in the Q&A, Anne said that the fact that she could sing was one of the factors that lead to her being chosen to play Lori in the first place so it seemed only natural that there was a request for Anne to sing something.
At first she declined, but was eventually coerced to sing a song. She chose "I'm Gonna Be Strong" and dedicated it Clive (who is currently recovering from a nearly fatal case of toxic shock.) It was very moving...

"Occupy Midian" is the movement to get an extended version of the great film "Clive Barker's Nightbreed" released onto Blu-ray and DVD. We are here, we are MANY, and we want to buy it!
Please invite everyone that you think might help champion this cause.
This group is to show Morgan Creek, the current owners of the film "Nightbreed", that there is a high demand for this film to be released in an extended cut as the director and creator Clive Barker originally intended.
"Occupy Midian" was a name thought up by Anne Bobby during an interview with the Clive Barker Podcast. This group aims to work in close co-operation with the creative people currently restoring the film.
They just screened the extended version of Nightbreed at Mad Monster Party. Clive Barker tweeted: "The response to the CABAL cut of NIGHTBREED seems overwhelming positive. All made possible by Russell Cherrington and Mark Miller."
Explaining time travel.
So is this Bay's plan? Make bad action films out of every series that began around the 80s and 90s? First Transformers and now TMNT. I guess Thundercats is next.
Bay should just forget TMNT and make a Biker Mice From Mars movie instead. That cartoon is about a team of crime-fighting *alien* animals...
I just got Lifeforce 2-disc CD that has 46 tracks on it. Henry Mancini's score is fantastic. What in the world were Cannon Films thinking when they replaced it with a lackluster "Alien"-like synth score by Michael Kamen...
What's your favourite (and least favourite) movie scores?
One of my favourites. This movie is... really something else. It's sexually charged, sci-fi, body horror. Think Hellraiser, with some Cronenbergian themes, the startling transformation sequences from The Thing, with a touch of black humour and you got "From Beyond". Directed by Stuart Gordon, famous for directing Re-Animator, but I like this one a whole lot more (it's more ambitious, for one thing). It's a movie designed to tickle it's viewer, and I'd say, From Beyond tickles you real good.
lol, I pretty much missed the whole thing. I only made it through Fellowship. I fell asleep during Two Towers, and when I woke up, you guys had just started Return of the King. It was late so I went to bed.
Truly the greatest Batman villain of all time...

I'd quite like to see this.
Eric Forman did a Star Wars fanedit?!
I was saying Cronenberg the entire pod, and he stepped out of his "thing" with Straight Story.
lol, no, Straight Story was David Lynch.
I love Elfman's score to Nightbreed. It is very Elfman but I still adore it.
I have the CD. It's a great score... dark, beautiful, surreal, action packed and with a touch of the horrific. Fits the movie like a glove.
Take a exclusive look at Doug Bradley working on the new Cabal Cut of Nightbreed.
