Anybody who thinks Christopher Nolan is a worse director than Uwe Boll is either a troll or a complete shithead. There is no middle ground.

I loved last night's premiere. Gus slicing that guy's jugular vein with a box cutter and then holding him while he bled out was the most violent thing I've ever seen on television. The cinematography and editing continues to be tremendous. The match cut from the mop in the pool of blood to the french fry in the ketchup was outstanding. Seriously, if you aren't watching this show, you need to get on this shit as soon as possible.

Before the producers of Jeopardy decided to use a super computer full of information, they originally planned to genetically combine the brains of Trey Stokes and Dorkman. This idea was scrapped after they realized it would be unfair to the other contestants.

I recently watched the third season of Breaking Bad for the first time as well and I'm ready to put the series ahead of, or at least equal to, The Wire on my personal rankings if the show wraps up well enough. I like to summarize The Wire as a study in sociology and Breaking Bad as a study in psychology. Both are fascinating for similar yet different reasons. Anyway, on the subject of the show at hand, the acting and cinematography on Breaking Bad are simply unmatched by anything else on television. I also hope this season contains the inevitable scene where Hank realizes that Walt is Heisenberg. I cannot wait for the shit to hit the fan with that revelation.

Howzabout Godzilla - which iiuc is roundly(?) dispised by 99% of the population (so would no doubt be the source of a numerous bunch of hilarious jibes and quipes from the team) but is a movie I love for all its bigness - monsterwise, explosionwise and "men with big guns trying to blow up the beastie, missing and destroying skyscrapper"wise.

I assume you mean the one where Ferris Bueller saves Manhattan. Yeah, I'd like to see DiF do that too.

Can I take the Matrix Sequels as one, and then option it off to Mike for one dollar? I have no strong opinion on this one, and I'm sure there's something else he'd love to do, so he can have two. Additionally, he'd knock it out of the park and I want to see those/that movie.

This would probably be my first choice too. I'll take something else though to keep the thread going.

You've got Potemkin Villages and the film itself for the propaganda ... maybe I'm not very good at this

Over to you Zarban!

The synonyms work perfectly, don't worry about it. I think it's just a tough movie to guess.

Yeah, I should have gone with William. I ended up derping and combining the two ideas I had, "Execute William" and "Mob Bob". The later of which works because it rhymes just like the original.
