Now that you guys did Monsters, will you do Skyline?  Another low budget sci-fi movie financed completely by its directors.

Every time I see a thing for this movie, I think:

And that the movie would probably be better if it was just all about:

Also, if they make a sequel, it should be titled Skyline: GTR.

If you read the thread, you'll see that nobody actually bothered to say that. And a quick Google search that I did found no one that actually recommended it, either.

Us recording a commentary and urging people to watch it doesn't qualify?

You've recorded commentaries for Transformers 2 and Surrogates. Also, all of your urging seems to be along the lines of "Support this because it's an indie film" not "go see this because it's good."

The closest theater playing this is 900 miles away. It is rather unlikely that I will go see this movie.

IRC is awesome if you can find an active channel. I can often be found in #xkcd on irc.foonetic.net. I don't really mind the chatroom we have now (though it's message length restriction annoys the shit out off me). And I'm not talking about the live streamings, those are better off with a chatroom (and I don't go to them anyway, the streaming and my internet do not get along at all), I'm talking about the awesome spontaneous stuff that used to go down in the chatroom. And I'm mostly asking because I'm lazy, and it's more convenient for me if we had IRC.

Can we get a DIF IRC channel? If we had one, would it get used? I'm on IRC all the time, and if we had a DIF channel instead of these less then optimal chatrooms, it would be easier to participate if something spontaneous happened rather then having to keep checking this site to see if something awesome is going down in the chatroom.

1. Thunderstorms. I love thunderstorms. big_smile
2. Light rain, preferably warm. I enjoy going out for walks in this kind of weather.
3. A sunny, breezy day in spring or fall.
4. Blizzards, on days when you don't need to go outside.
5. Sunny with scattered clouds.

Top 5 conspiracy theories.

What if, as they eat your brain, they start to take control over you (also not unprecedented). If you started going crazy, then your body started doing things against your will, that would be fucking terrifying. Also, then you end up with zombies who really do want to eat your brain and can only be taken down with a headshot for logical reasons.

This song is amazing.

Just change ## to the episode id, maybe customize the text a bit, and you're set, e.g., for Men in Black you might make it:
