A little peeking around with firebug and in your source code leads me to believe the text is inheriting it's color from line 194 in
http://downinfront.net/forum/style/Oxygen/Oxygen_cs.css
where it says:
.brd label, .brd .aslabel, .brd .mf-set legend, .brd .ct-legend * {
color: #357;
}
Change that to pretty much any other color and it should fix it.

Is it just me, or are the text and background the same color on several pages? So far I've seen it on the registration page, login page, and create new topic page. It's really annoying.
