I don't blame you for thinking that. The current writers and animators make jabs at how bad it used to be every once in a while.

I've been watching this series of pony toons. Reminds me of Ren and Stimpy (which I've only seen once, a long time ago).

It's ultra violent (and a bit stupid at times), but it's making me feel a little better about the S3 finale news.

It's set to end soon. As horrible as it sounds, I hope everypony dies. I'd be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

(I may or may not have submitted a slightly edited Teague pony for consideration as a background character in the last episode. I hope he picks it)

You're a little late to tell me not to panic. I've been panicking ever since I heard the news.

I do trust the writers of the show. They've never let me down before, but I'm still worried. The plot summary doesn't give me much hope. And they seem to have never wanted to do this in the first place. (judging by reading their twitter accounts)

I'm considering not watching it and seeing if the community responds with a massive shitstorm or not. Even if they do fuck it up, I bet (hope) the backlash would cause them to reverse it in season 4's opener.

Unrelated but I wanted to share: I usually hate 4chan, but /mlp/'s reaction was pretty similar to the one I had in my head. They had "WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?" at the top of every page with tragic music playing. Made me chuckle.

It seems Hasbro is forcing the creators of the show to change a mane character in a way that doesn't make sense in any way so they can make new toys of her. If this is a permanent change, this can hugely effect the way the plot of the show works. (in what i think is a negative direction to take it)

(and i like how that character is now. if they change her in the way they plan to I personally think it will make her less interesting and have fewer places for the writers to explore her personality)

I'm kinda concerned that Hasbro has started to compromise the story of the show just so they can add characters to make toys of.
