if it's not too hard then this English viewer would appreciate one
[edit] eeek, am I at risk of being banned for saying I liked the movie ??
[edit] scratch that, don't need the PAL version, the NTSC sysning perfectly. Turns out that after listening to most of your PALs and having to pause them every 10mins or so to resync to the movie, well I've just found out that my dvd player is playing things NTSC speed.

No I don't
- the movie had lost me wayway before then, and no amount of creative blood splattering could change my mind, AND take the ending, "ok, we've just partially shredded the manic who's just butchered all our buddies, lets now carry him all the way to the lake instead of completing the job" - what dinks.
And I'm a diehard Friday fan too. At least it was better than Manhattan or X.
Maybe I'm alone but I love X.

Keeping a hostage, providing her with meals, laying triplines with bells attached by cute little bows, showing us his electrical lit lair, his vegetable garden, and all the other reimagining the makers brought to my beloved character blandified him and turned him into just another forest dwelling eviltype person. 2 movies away from a possible/guaranteed magical(?) p13 released on Friday 13th September/December 2013 and the ptb in all their wisdom chose to revamp the series and ruin him. Why they couldn't have waited I just don't know.
Friday 13th (2009) - so in Act 2 MY Jason could have appeared and chopped up the pretender in teenie little bits.

She says he's everything she's dreamed of
But when they get married before he's aware
She changes his habits the way he combs his hair
She changes him to someone he's never been
And then complains he's not like other men
Now really I find this most illogical
rather than being a cliches, is this just what happens in real life.
a man loves a woman for who she is
a woman loves a man for who she can turn him into
During the Wanted commentary your Lady Snatch member revealed herself to be a huge Punsiher WarZone fan . Can we look forward to have that as a future commentary. Or Shoot 'Em Up. I'm not adding Ninja Assassin to this suggestion list as though it's crammed full of explicitly violent scenes (like the other two) between them things do kinda drag (unlike the other two) and the ending is kinda meh (definate NOT like the other two)
Has anyone suggested Unbreakable - kinda fits into the slow paced scifi(ish) film genre which iirc one of your team expressed a preference for during the Monster commentary.
^good stuff, thems what I have.

merci bocu
Quick question (then I'll scroll up to see if it's been answered already): which versions of HP1+2 are you doing, cos I've just spied some extended versions.
btw: we don't need a twitter account to listen, right ?!
^hopefully that wikipedia link hasn't spoilt the replacement scene (as opposed to an extended cut scene)
Nuts, I thought you were going to provide a link to the commentary
@Zarban re: Salt - you saw the Directors Cut, right ?!
Last film I saw was Nine Dead, the Melissa Joan Heart(?) starring Saw (ish, but not really) film which begins with 9 people handcuffed in a room. (from ages ago) After the quick realisation that this is a poor-poor film (when Melissa isn't speaking she kinda goes into hibernation mode) you might think "what the hell, I'll stick it out to see what connects them all and see if I can guess the twist at the end". I say, don't, just don't. The payoff ain't worth it and it is another of those movies with an unnecessary open ending (damn them).
re: They Live - starring my hero Rowdy Roddy Piper - isn't this the movie with the infamous 28min(ish) fistycuff fight that ain't really up to much ?
^yup, that's the one - I'm all for the deep and meaningfull movie, one that makes you think long after it has ended and possibly changes how you view the world, but sometimes I just want to see big things blow up (most times actually
).
I saw the movie, but had recently finished a rewatch of the series The Dresden Files (which according to IMDB was going to be a motion picture but Constantine put the kybosh on that) so that probably influenced my mehness view. Me thinking Dylan Dog was a silly name didn't help, and it can't have left a big impression on ms cos all I can remember thinknig is that The Dresden files did all that magic stuff sooooo much better.
Howzabout Godzilla - which iiuc is roundly(?) dispised by 99% of the population (so would no doubt be the source of a numerous bunch of hilarious jibes and quipes from the team) but is a movie I love for all its bigness - monsterwise, explosionwise and "men with big guns trying to blow up the beastie, missing and destroying skyscrapper"wise.
Book of Eli - a movie I've seen 4-5 times. And it wasn't until after No3 that I imdb'ed their discussion forum and got my "what, really?!, surely you jest, it can't be, (goes off to rewatch), omg!!" enlightenment - (spoiler not given just in case)
^rock on - off to seek out my copy (original copy of course) of The Director Cut.

not to me you don't
So if "you people" can do single films from a series does that mean Friday 13th might be on the cards some day. The original mind you, NOT the re-envisioning travesty that was the 2009 version.
Thanx for that. A lightbulb of "that's what they/you do" went off in my head at the same time as you were typing your reply. Please excuse my temporary dumbness.
The twiitter entries have the team doing a Zombieland commentary, but I can't find it on the main page. Has it not been released yet. Is there much technical stuff involved between doing the live broadcast and it appearing in downloadable form ??
[edit] there are other commentaries mentioned in the twitter entries as well, that don't appear to be here, am I missing something (that wouldn't surprise me
)
[edit2] just read the "recording hiatus - We'll be back recording again June 4th or 5th. Releases will continue as usua" bit at the top of the page, so does this mean they did a bumper bunch of double movie watchings so they could keep posting a commentary a week whilst having a break from their weekly get-together.
