I know you posted this a while ago, Trey, but I've just seen it, so I'll reply-

But now I can say with certainty - until an actual Brit shows up to correct me  - that "English" applies only to someone from the actual country of England, while "British" includes Scotland and Wales (which along with England are collectively "Great Britain).    So a Scot is British, but not English.

Yup, I am Scottish/British, not English/British smile It annoys me so many times when people, mostly Americans, say 'I hate the British' when they mean English. The Scots and Irish have done nothing to you guys, you know.  big_smile

I'm pleased that I now finally know this.  I feel all worldly and shite.

Points to Trey for using the word shite big_smile

We had a war with England and became a country

Yeah, Scotland's had a war or two with England too (see Braveheart). Some say we are still at war with them as some Scots still want independence. smile

I remember seeing a big standee of that poster in the cinema back in 1991 when I was going to see T2. I thought it was really cool that the feet were teeth for some reason.

ok...... back to the Fifth Element. Just a little fact- Lee Evans is a very popular stand up comedian in the U.K. He's quite manic and physical on stage and has sold out venues here for the past 15 years or so. He was also in There's Something About Mary but nobody has really been able to find him a role suitable for his talents. He's much beter on stage, although he is possibly a required taste.

Alright, I'll admit it, I'm bored big_smile

Its a bit strange quoting myself, but I have done this. A message in red (to catch the eye) and a link to the DIF front page in my sig. I have also posted a few times in the past few days so, hopefully it will get seen.

May not work, but you never know smile

It's ok, you're a Goonie and Goonies always make mistakes......just, don't make any more...

Or something, I don't know what I'm saying, I could very well be wasted. Or maybe I'm just sleepy. Always get those two mixed up.

Well, personally, I don't know anyone else in 'real life' who listens to commentaries (I'm a 'movie geek').  What I can do though is put a link in the signature of forums I frequent.....except this one, obviously, I think everyone here knows....

I don't smoke pot, but the idea that alcohol should be legal and weed not is senseless, puritanical madness.

I say legalize it all, frankly. You want to get all fucked up in the comfort of your own home, go for it. You go outside and start trying to drive around that way, you get to go to jail just like if it was alcohol.

Spot on, I agree 100%.

And I don't smoke it either but I've been around folk who do/did (my dad for one).

John's going to do more commentaries? Excellent,  I enjoyed his ones for the Scream trilogy and Buffy episodes.

That's cool. For me, personally, it's a matter of timing. If I am at my mums (I'm British see, have to use the u rather than the o big_smile) I can watch Live shows no problem (I was at the Independence Day one) if it's early enough. My mum loves me but even she can only stand my company for so long.

As I type this, it is 4.46am and I am using Mobile Internet so live streaming is a bit of a hassle for me, though I haven't tried your stream yet, It can take a while to watch something on Youtube.

I think I have forgotten what my point was. I'm tired. Oh, I enjoy the live shows if I can see 'em. And if I was to watch a Fifth Element one, I wouldn't have to sit through the movie again big_smile
