How about Parnassus?

Another good choise would be Frank Miller's The Spirit. It is a weird mix of slapstick and trashy noir, yet it somehow works, surprisingly (I was expecting a giant failure).

You guys should do 9 by Shane Acker. Very promising... and disappointing movie. But it can be interpreted in a lot of ways.

Another bunch of ideas:

- Xanadu: who doesn't love Olivia Newton-John?
- Bicentennial Man: Robin Williams is an android (or something) and tries to be a human (or something);
- Frankenstein with De Niro;
- Casper: 1995 not-really-for-kids version;
- Supergirl.

You know, I think that Wallace & Gromit - The Curse of the Were-Rabbit would be also great for a commentary. Aardman = classic.

And Unbreakable (best superhero movie ever) would be interesting, too.

As for more obsure movies, Kontroll would be a good choice. A debut of Nimrod Antal, director of Vacancy and upcoming Predators. A symbolical thriller set in Budapest subway; hard to forget.

Hello!

I adore what you guys doing. smile

I'd love to hear your commentaries for:

- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: a failure or a success? Is a film version of one of the best SF humor novels a good movie on its own?
- Daredevil: hey, it was a good movie! Despite of starring Jennifer Garner, obviously;
- Truman Show: fascinating drama about life in the eye of millions;
- The Butterfly Effect: when Ashton Kutcher travels in time, you know it's gonna be... pretty good, actually;
- K-Pax: Kevin Spacey is an alien! Or is he?
- Eight Legged Freaks: Roland Emmerich's only enjoyable movie?
- something of Richard Kelly;
- Children of Men.
