Ryan QC notes:

1:41 - Left/right black edges of background shake into frame every now and then.

1:52 - Windshield displacement/refraction continues too far off the glass screen right at tail of shot.

(How'd you become aware of this, anyway? Did you just notice this yourself at some point?)

Yup.

Here’s the scene with Watto’s interpenetrating pant strap buckle.

It’s at about 31 seconds right at the end of the long walking shot where Watto comes around in front of Qui-Gon. Right before it cuts just watch his screen left hip.

Hey peeps. At least a couple of you have already seen this, but yesterday I finally finished an editing project I've been working on for months: A Plinkett-style video review of Iron Man 2.

As you might recall from our love-fest commentary on Iron man, I'm a big fan of the first film, but have many issues with the second one.

It's like concentrated video-DIF.

Enjoy!
and if you like it, I appreciate help sharing through your preferred social channels.

Note: Chock full of spoilers... it's been a year, people.

I will, of course, be there.

I'm there for all days, leaving on Sunday morning.

Steve mentions his love for "Death is the Road to Awe" and says he wishes they used it in the trailer for this movie. He clearly wasn't the only one thinking that, if you recall, "I am Legend" did use it in their trailer ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DcrHyJ5RTA )

I will be in Jan Jose with the family, but I/we will be playing along. I'll be in the chat.

By the way, they have some sort of special edition of ID4 as well, don't they? Just to clarify, it's just the plain DVD/Blu-ray we're doing, right?

Also, since I don't personally spend a lot of time on forums in general, (and I mean at all) having a bit of feedback be part of the podcast was fun. In fact, it would be interesting if you incorporated feedback either into the podcast in some way, or maybe an occaisional podcast just to discuss feedback about a particular commentary & what you think about it. (That might not work, or it might end up being a good argument/discussion.)

I think it's a good idea. It's like when the Mythbusters go back over old myths that the viewers had problems with.
