Fat goofy man marries a MILF, she's a God awful cunt and always knows best...
See (in no particular order): Home Improvement, George Lopez Show, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc.

Any time I hear someone in a movie say "think with your heart" or the equivalent it makes me rage so hard that you would not believe the couple of paragraphs of vitriol I just deleted.
Dunno if you can consider this stuff cliche, but the way a lot of films are injecting weird imperfections and lens 'effects' into the image gets really distracting sometimes. I used to go a whole movie without seeing many lens flares or chromatic aberration or shit hitting the lens or dust and scratches on the lens, etc. Lately it's become pretty ubiquitous in big budget films and in indie films where the team wants to show off all their after effects filters.
By far, the idea that there is a prophecy and our hero is the fulfillment of it is the worst, in my opinion. It makes me just check out of the movie.
Main character walks into a bar and asks for a beer. The bartender immediately knows exactly which brand he's talking about and gets it for him.

Also see, every commercial currently running. Know it all mom and retarded old dad. Makes my eye twitch it is so infuriating.
I'm quite tired of this one.
Pregnant women gets on elevator with another person. Other person is often a kid, or has some social problem. Elevator is stuck and other person has to deliver the baby.

Oh, I forgot about that....ugh...It reminds me of when our main characters get locked on the roof or in a basement or are otherwise trapped, most of the time it leads to the dreaded CLIP SHOW....
The hero's getting beaten by the big bad in a round of fisticuffs, and then is revived by a flashback of his dad, teacher, mother, neighbour etc. telling him 'be strong/ follow your heart/be the 'one', leading the big bad to suddenly forget how to block or fight...
Girl meets boy they fall in love
She says he's everything she's dreamed of
But when they get married before he's aware
She changes his habits the way he combs his hair
She changes him to someone he's never been
And then complains he's not like other men
Now really I find this most illogical
Slightly off-topic, but if you want a real modern romance, check out Blue Valentine.

rather than being a cliches, is this just what happens in real life.
a man loves a woman for who she is
a woman loves a man for who she can turn him into
