Yours feel much more cliche "anime"-ish than the actual original drawings. I'm fairly certain it's the eyes. Yours are perfectly oval, whereas all of the original pokies are more of a flatbottomed egg shape.
But otherwise they're pretty damn close.
EDIT:...upon further looking....you didn't actually draw these... it's just some photoshop wizardry...soooo...just frack me then

Haha, yeah I was just experimenting with the watercolour style using some existing line art that I'd found. I've never really used Photoshop for 'painting' before, so I'm happy with how they turned out.
Painted this last night.
So i'm currently attempting to teach myself Premiere by making videos for the album I put together last year. I have two things working in my favor...the album is short (28 minutes) as are the songs (2-3 minutes each). I've linked the songs and probably the album before..i think i even put an early video on here.
anywho, i've got a video for my song based on Reggie Watts TED speech. It's mostly there, but it's not quite finished.
If anyone's interested in providing some feedback, i'd be happy to email some of you a link.
thanks guys...links sent.
kyle...digging your stuff. following your 'cloud account, now. you've inspired me to upload some of my more ambient stuff to my account. thanks!
Speaking of which, here is my new Ambient EP.

I needed some C# practice so I wrote a bot that plays Bejeweled.
Got bored. Just a couple random pics I snapped with items and lighting within arms reach of my computer chair.
Camera: Panasonic GH2
Lens: Nikon 50mm /1.8 series E with 7mm macro tube
Recently went to an 80's action movie themed party.
I decided to make a "They Live" mask. Took me about 2 days, but involved cutting up 2 cheap plastic Halloween masks, hot gluing them to reform the shape, then sculpting a bone structure out of paperclay and hand painting the whole thing. I think it turned out pretty damn well.
Awesome. Any pics with hair over the band and the top part?
Trivia: not her real hair.
That's Ian Hubert (banner, Dynamo, fame) and Paulou (banner, that bicycle thing, fame) and me.
We jammed for a minute, wrote some lyrics, then this.
Here's the text from the "about" on this video:
So my friend Ian (guitar) was in town, and we were jamming and being idiots. Then he played a chord progression we thought was cool, and songwriting spontaneously began. I ended up writing the chords and melody you see here, as well as the first verse lyrics. Ian wrote the second verse lyrics. Paul wrote the third. Then we recorded it, with me on vocals and piano, Ian on guitar, and Paul on bass. ... The first time we actually played through this song with instrument parts, we were recording, and this brings us to the present. Total time elapsed: three hours, eighteen minutes.
All three of us (Ian least of all) kinda screwed up this performance. But whatever.
The moral of the song is "be happy with what you have." The moral of this story is "have talented goddamned friends who like making random shit as much as you do."
Sometimes the random crazy shit is the stuff you end up being the most proud of. I really enjoyed this
To try and keep myself awake, I thought I'd go and take some photo's of things just lying around in my garden. I really like this one for some reason.
