We will have no official representation at Comic Con this year, but I know that a lot of the regulars and regular-guests will be down there this weekend.
Anyone else going? Maybe we can all grab a beer on Saturday.
I will be there all 4 days. Im staying at a house in Hillcrest when Im not passed out in friends hotel rooms. The first ten people to see me and shout "I'M DOWN IN FRONT!" in my face will win their very own face punch and a spectacular view of me running away in terror.
Between not really wanting to take off from work, as it's just starting to get slightly busy again, and not having the drive this year.
I think that I am planning now on just taking the train down on Saturday first thing, and spending the full day there. The majority of the panels and talks that I would really want to do would have been on Thursday or Friday, so I think I'll just go for the floor, and meeting some of the artists that I know from online again.
I have to admit, some of it is not having the drive of having shelled out any actual cash for my pass, so I don't feel I have to justify the expense to myself.
Cloe, Lelied and myself are driving down on Saturday and coming back Saturday night. You're welcome to carpool with us, if you don't mind being in back seats.
I will be drinking at either the Tin Fish or The Field on k street. Seriously, if any DF fans will be there, I'd love to meet you.
I would go, but I never have money this time of year.

Looks like Brian and I will be doing a one-day speedthru on Friday. But I admit I'm mostly in it for the change of scenery, and hopefully a meal at one of those nice restaurants across the street.
And to look at cosplay girls, of course, duh.
bit early i know but it's a fair trip to make from Melbourne. any plans for next years as i'm gonna be there (my first time)
