They chose some good properties to work with. Those characters can easily exist in the 'real world' and won't rely too heavily on special effects to make a decent action/crime series.

I am a little surprised they included Daredevil though. He's more of a major character and with the rights reverting back to Marvel I'd have thought they'd take a chance with another feature-length film.

Eh, I'm happy for Netflix I guess, as people will inevitably watch these. I'm just so beyond tired of superhero movies/shows. With the way marvel is over-saturating the market, I'm hoping the Superhero genre goes the way of the Western and dies out for a couple decades.

Personally, I wish Netflix would stick more to originals, but it's hard to fault them for this move from a financial standpoint.

Daredevil is by far my favorite Marvel super hero, so I'm cautiously optimistic about that. I could care less about the rest, to be honest.

I do like the basic idea, though. Beyond a few obvious exceptions, I think that the majority super heros just simply don't work well for one-off movies or trilogies or whatnot. They were born of a serial form and work best that way.
