I would just like to point out, that you have successful ignored my paragraph and a half of "on topic conversation" and instead chose to focus on my half sentence of off topic-ness.

You win.

I didn't ignore it dude, i was enthralled by every word. smile I just didn't have anything other than 'i agree' to add. Let me try again. The commentary was fine. Starting off by basically apologizing and Eddie having to defend the movie took a bit of fun out of it for me but was still a good one.

The "boring" bits are under-rated IMO. I love the scene where Walter tries to lift the ban on group 7 access.
"User requests are what computers are for for."
"Doing our business is what computers are for."
They never talk about what the company actually does, because it doesn't matter. It makes the movie a bit more timeless and more likely to hold up years later. It's like John Sculley (as an evil genius) firing Steve Jobs (as an old man unable to make a comeback).

And the roof helicopter scene is one of the best movies endings of all time.

Also, Cindy Morgan.

Re: TRON

I gotta agree with Eddie.. Tron hit me at the perfect time.  as a 5 year old it made a pretty big impact on my view of sci-fi and cgi.

but more importantly..Eddie.. is The Field the irish bar you were talking about?

Re: TRON

INDEED IT IS.

I Lurrrv The Field.  It is my single favorite San Diego pub and has a wickedly good beer selection and a plate of Shepperd's Pie that will actually make you part Irish.  I love lots of other eateries around there, but nothing beats a good Comic Con sloshing at The Field.
