Re: Dubious musical taste.
It's like how when Weird Al does an original song, and that song is hyper-itself?
That algorithm, but just: Everything I was listening to in high school.

YEP.
I was kinda putting off listening to it cause I figured, y'know, alright Electric Callboy, gonna be another great wacky metal nonsense, but I just wasn't in the mood last week... but uh NOPE.
They fuckin /nailed/ that early-ought's pop punk vibe, I've been listening to it basically non-stop since yesterday.
Testing forum functionality, since the chat box crashes access to the site, figured I'd post a reply. And while I'm at it, here, enjoy something that came up on my Pandora station that plays "epic trailer cover" style music.
Edit: Changed the video source to be from the artist's YouTube page instead of a repost.

Here's some of the weird things that I've been listening to lately:
experimental Italian electronica:

Just plain weird, but cool:

Can I just hijack this with something that isn't dubious?
It's actually quite mainstream.
Linkin Park
All my adult life, and then some, I've been a fan of this band. It started in 2001 with Hybrid Theory(In the end, Papercut, etc), moved on to Meteora(Numb, Breaking the Habit), Minutes to Midnight(Bleed it Out, Given Up), A thousand Suns(Waiting for the End, Robot Boy), Living Things(Lost in the Echo, Castle of glass), The Hunting Party (Rebellion, Keys to the Kingdom), One More Light(One More Light, Heavy), and didn't really end. Last year they released a track called "Lost" that was basically a Meteora track that didn't get released in 2003, but rather got a release last year, and was amazing.
All that aside, I'm a happy camper. Linkin Park just started touring again, and is making new music and I don't care if any of y'all don't like it. I'm extremely happy they're back. I love Emily Armstrong as the new singer, and I'm just fucking happy about it.
Move along
A week today. Me and my brother planned to see em at Wembley but both got adulting things in the way. I like Emily. Chesters brother, Granny and half of the internet dont so much. I dont get why they dont. Trying to cancel her aside... would Chester just want the band to die (bad choice of words) with him?? Fuck no. He'd be so down for it to continue. Nay, I'm so down for it to contunue
