I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger speak at a conference last night, the guy seems pretty great to be honest. Very switched on, really focused, a politician who seemed to really value public service over a (pretty small) pay cheque.
Well done, Cali.

Well done, Cali.

So the effort of wilfully ignoring the issues of STID grew too much.
Fuck this film. Fuck it right in the eye.
It could be run like an event. A Hogwarts event. Where Eddie makes things people want to eat, and everyone gets to wear a hat.
Then everyone gets quite interested in the Goblet of Fire commentary, obviously because of the story (but also quite possibly due to the appearance of the ladies from Beauxbatons, or the gents from Durmstrang's).
I don't know how long animators will have a place in mocap. The facial stuff in avatar was performance capture, and the data is only going to get cleaner and include all the wonderful noise that indicates life.
As someone who will happily sit and lip sync a character to a dialogue track (for the fun of it), it's a bit sad to watch happen. The performances are more realistic, but this little thing I like to do is now less useful.
Remember when we had animators? Hell of a thing.

It's writing Sansa as a victim for the first few books which really annoys me. While her situation is desperate, it's as if she's not a Stark at all; we don't see any steel in her until much later on.
I think it's deliberate, and we're not supposed to like her, but damn.
Joffrey's wedding would be an excellent way to open a new season, plus it finally lets Sansa start her story.
Sansa is thoroughly infuriating.

As an aside, Arya is my favourite character by a country mile.
Lending further credence to this theory: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Lyanna_Stark
Her final words were a phrase that would haunt her brother for the rest of his life: "Promise me, Ned."
Go home Spork, you're drunk.
Highly recommend Aleksander Vinter (aka Savant). He's one hell of a producer and the sheer amount of high quality shit he puts out is impressive.
That's a bit chiptune/gamewave. Nice.
This is my current favorite and go-to group. I guess you could call it cinematic electronica.
Nice, reminds me of older D&B. Roni Size.
Because, bass drop.
EDM Death machine. I fucking love Knife Party.
New Australian stuff.
Given how much folks seem to like IM3, the distaste for this film leaves me a little baffled.
Anyway, it's only a film. None of this is worth a fight over.
I just didn't care, I was having fun.
This is the Iron Man 3 thread all over again. Nearly all of the "plot holes" being brought up here are answered in the movie.
Except in this thread, Doc Sub and I aren't at each other's throats.
Not being so invested in characters makes movies far more enjoyable.
Wow, you sound like many of my exes.
After bedroom time.

I tried to watch this, but then fell into a coma. A boredom coma. Of boredom.
I kind of disagree with most of what these three guys have issue with. The plot holds together, and I didn't really find myself thinking "wait, how did that happen?", although I don't know what a prime directive is, other than you can't divide it by anything other than itself, or one.
Would watch again.
Seriously, that gif should become an institution.
Anyway, coming to this one as a non-geek the film held together much more than Iron Man. I know they've flipped a lot of stuff on its head, but that doesn't bother me at all.
Also, I've no experience of the villain before seeing this picture.
You chaps can all sit around and collectively fellate Tony Stark's 3rd solo film, I'll be sitting I over here with a huge box of popcorn, watching new Start Trek, and grinning from ear to ear.
I enjoyed the hell out of this.
Teague had some exteriors, can you re-use any of those?
This shit needs a producer.
Fireproof, can you deliver your shots this weekend or should I give them to someone else?
Tom, can you give me an itemised list of outstanding items?
It's been over a year, and we're still waiting for shots?! Can nobody else take these shots?
