I am a failure.

In terms of vocals, I think it'd be cool if we had a few of us doing the lines back and forth. Also, I gotta do the cake lines 'cos singing about food is kinda my thing right now.

I agree with both of these.

Yay! We're doing a thing!

Oh, sorry, I think I was waiting for a reply here before saying anything else, so uh, pm'd.

I'm considering throwing my name in for this. I have played quite a bit of Minecraft. But I'm also pretty awkward, especially when recorded.

When you lay them out like that, they're pretty much balanced; it skews toward Hermione, but Ron does his bit. (Also, he comes up with and executes the plan of getting into the Chamber of Secrets to destroy the Cup.)

What? Ron does almost nothing in 3, 4, 5 (until the end), 6 (until the end), and a good part of 7.

He also stands by Harry when the whole school turns against him in Chamber and OotP. If you like, he serves as Harry's emotional support, and Hermione is his intellectual support. Loyalty like Ron's is nothing to sneeze at, which is a point that Rowling hammers home.

Ron Weasley: loyal till end... except in 4 and 7.

How meaningful would Ron's loyalty be if it was never tested? If it was never once a struggle to stay by Harry's side?

I should probably get around to watching the last movie.

Yay! It's done! And somehow I managed to procrastinate long enough to never get my shot done...
Anyway, good job guys. Can't wait for the next thing.

We definitely need Dorkman's "puppet government" bit from Nightmare Christmas, possibly edited to include the "insidious communist propaganda" quote from the intro.

Well, I mean, it doesn't have to be your recipes. Spork mentioned a couple ideas, but you could definitely do more gifty prizes. T-shirts, signed posters etc etc.

ooh,  how about Dorkman does a shot every time someone donates over $100?

And that's how Dorkman winds up saying he'll blow up his apartment if someone donates $1000.

And that's a joke only me and Spork are gonna get.

And then they'll need to convince someone to donate $2000  so they can turn back time.

Sounds like an opportunity for a secondary donation scheme, like pledging when people run marathons and stuff.  For every contiguous hour Mike stays at his post, you pledge x dollars...

Building upon this, I'll totally email the recipe for my meals to the highest donor in a 15 min block every time I linbring food out.

I'm not big in the highest bidder thing, simply because it'll only motivate the people who have more money to spare.  I see two obvious alternatives.  Set an amount to be raised by a certain time ( next fifteen minutes, end of the current movie, whatever)  if the goal is reached, the viewers are rewarded in some way ( Eddie posts a   link to his recipe, Teague eats a spoonful of cinnamon, again whatever).  For more individual rewards, make it so that everyone who donated within a certain time frame is entered into a raffle,  this way you can still reward higher  donaters by entering someone into the raffle over for every $5 they donate, that way the people who donate more would have a higher chance of winning, but the people who can't afford as much aren't completely out of the race, and would still have a chance to win a prize like one of Eddie's recipes,a song written for them by Teague, a FIYH  hoodie, whatever.

Just a thought, take it or leave it.

PS  I'm posting from my phone  and very sleep deprived, so I'm not sure how well I'm communicating at the moment.

I strongly agree.

So far, there's nothing mind-blowingly amazing but... It's not bad. And that seems to be enough for me.

I'm not sure why, but for some reason this show is getting me excited about the Marvel Cinematic Universe all over again. Maybe it's because everything so far had been leading up to The Avengers, and it was so easy to forget that anything would come after that. I don't know.

Part of me feels like it doesn't have to be good, the fact that it exists is enough. Think about it, we're getting what comics have been doing for decades, a massive shared universe. Sure some things will be crap, others awesome, most will probably be somewhat mediocre, but, you guys, it exists. It's happening. It's awesome. Maybe.

We also see Jon get burned in the series when he fights off the wights on the Wall - which is about the only argument I know of against him being Targaryaen.   But I justify it because he's only half-dragon whereas Danaerys is pure (if incestuous) Targaryaen.

I don't get the impression that Danaerys or her relatives are meant to be 100% fireproof 100% of the time...

Pretty sure GRRM has confirmed that Dany being fireproof was pretty much a one time thing.

It may be too cheerful for this type of thing, but if you want some plinky ukulele sounds, I may be capable of such things. I also have a concertina in my possession, but all I can really do on that one is random clashing notes. Also, no mic, so probably not helpful... Teague's name was just looking so lonely in the music category.

...Did I imagine that part? I swear I remember that happening.

She thinks about it, but ultimately doesn't do the deed.   Probably because that's even more cruel.    Ever since, the question of whether the Hound is dead or alive has been uncertain.

So like Phi says, he's probably alive (or alive-ish) and will show up again at some point.

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but no one else seems to have mentioned the theory that Sandor Clegane is alive and well as the gravedigger on the Quiet Isle.

First off, the Elder brother tells the story of his own "death" showing that he probably isn't using it in the literal sense when he tells Brienne and Pod of the Hounds "death". He also NEVER refers to Sandor dying, only "The Hound", again showing that Sandor likely had a more metaphorical death and rebirth. The Gravedigger is also described as very tall with a lame leg, the same leg that the Hound had wounded. There are a few other potential clues, such as the Elder Brother being an extremely gifted healer (the Hound was near death, after all), the Hound's horse is in the stables at the Quiet Isle (a horse known for being extremely uncooperative with anyone besides his master), and the Gravedigger being friendly to a dog (I'll admit that one is reaching).

I used to be able to do it in under five minutes, but it's been awhile, not sure I even remember how.

Looks like it's time to dig out the cube.
