This is an article regarding 'Cordyceps', a parasite which causes ants to climb as high as possible, then kill themselves.

Ah, I can see it now... A BUG'S LIFE 2... written & directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
I think you mean A BUG'S MOON 2
Also, I've discovered this:
Probably to prevent loud discussion.
Just listened to the intro, but haven't seen the movie. Sounds like if you did a search-and-replace for all references to Apollo 18 and replaced then with Prometheus, the DiF audio commentary would be very similar.
hahaha.
I'm 11 minutes in and the movie has already lost my attention. It's edited in such a way that the whole thing feels like a big montage. I mean, I guess that's what movies are when you get right down to it, but the constant switching between different types of cameras and viewpoints makes it really hard to focus on whatever the fuck is supposed to be happening.
The DVD has a commentary with the director and editor. The director is French. That's about all I got from the four minutes of it I listened to. Well, that and the fact they were editing up until two weeks before release, about the time the commentary was recorded.
The thing I'm going to take from this commentary is the fun that came from the whole "moon naming game" that went on within the chat.
Ya Ewing wins the commentary. I really want to see someone try to make a poster of that title

Yup. Was so proud when a couple of my entries got read out
I'm pretty sure that moonshine played a large role in the creation of Apollo 18.
Just checking, you guys are aware They Might Be Giants did an album called "Apollo 18" and didn't want to drag their names through the mud by associating it with this dumb movie, right?
The lyrics to "The Statue Got Me High" do seem appropriate though.
"The statue made me die/
It took my hand it killed me and it turned me to the sky"
I think I said Moonshine. And by 'said' I mean I typed it in the chat, I didn't actually just say it out loud, that would be pointless
Cool poster, though. And it's a UK one too, nice
It is from Keeping Up Appearances-
It happens about 11 minutes in or so.
there's so much in this that feels like it was cut by a TV student... Way too many cuts as if you're cutting B-Roll for a news story for channel 4 in Detroit...
hahaha.
Mo7on.

Yup. Ewing won. I have tear streaks from laughing.

Well, that'll teach me never to have seen the programme.
Never watched it myself either but it looked like a sitcom and that was the only one I could think of that she was in
I haven't seen this movie, but every time I see a new comment in this thread, it reminds me that I need to work on my idea to open a space-themed Mexican chicken restaurant called El Pollo 11
The menu would include "pollo de luna", "spam in a can", "the chicken has landed", and a family-style platter called "one giant heap for all mankind".
