Topic: Cool Trailers
Given recent events, I figured that we might as well have a dedicated thread for trailers. Could be fun.

There have been an awful lot of big trailer releases in the last couple weeks or so
Here's a couple that I'm looking forward to seeing that haven't already been posted on the forums somewhere (that I'm aware of):
I can't believe nobody's posted about the Prometheus trailer yet. I haven't been particularly impressed by Ridley Scott lately, but Alien and especially Blade Runner are two of my favorite films. Plus I'm pretty crazy for that Noomi Rapace gal, so this is right up my alley. Anybody else?
I hope the next trailer has more meat to it, but it's Ridley Scott and I like him a lot, so this excites me. I hope he had a good reason to make this movie, tho, and I hope there's a good reason why the tech in this movie looks very futuristic, when in the distant future it looks like TRS-80s.
I prefer the look and feel of the tech in Alien more than a lot of other space / sci-fi movies. Even though it looks like 70's computers, it feels way more real. They wouldn't waste so much valuable space-ship space and use so much extra power to run holographic screens and fancy lighting and stuff like they do in the new star trek. Real space ships look more like the Nostromo. On the inside, at least. Aside from all the gravity.

I was excited to the see the Space Jockey head/helmet from the original Alien make an appearance in the Prometheus trailer along with what looks like it's chair rising from the floor.
Does Faldor not know Bryan?
Three words:
"I'm stealing your Jug man!"

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) Teaser Trailer
For many years I've been quoting this teaser trailer. It was on a old video I had when I was young(er). I could recite it word for word. And I did many a times when drunk in days of yore
We are film nerds and whenever the subject of teaser trailers comes up this one is my go to move as my favorite.
From time to time I've been looking for it on the net but I never found it.
Today I checked just out of habit and here it is in all it's glory.
To me it's the perfect teaser trailer. No spoilers for the story but still drags us into the world of the movie.

wait, they're making ads for ads now?
Was there a link button somewhere that said "Click here to see a sneak preview of the new Ferris Bueller Superbowl ad!" somewhere? 'Cause that would be an ad for an ad for an ad...
I don't care how bad it would've been, i would totally watch that movie.
apparently it's a Honda commercial....

Matthew Broderick in a car commercial is NOT a good idea.
Apparently nobody remembers that.
Besides, it happened in a whole other country, so it doesn't even count.
I'm not gonna lie, that video gave me happy chills. Being that the ad is directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover), intended to mimic/pay tribute to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and set to premiere during the Superbowl, I'm sure it will be fun and memorable. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
The whole Bueller Commercial is online.

I know it's an Escape from New York rip-off, but still, might work.
Most of us have seen the 'Big' trailers of the year already, but this one really caught my eye the other day:
Willem Dafoe in 'The Hunter':
*Edit - Thanks to Dr. Submarine for showing me the ropes.
