I don't feel as though I did say anything lacking any piece of information. My original statement is exactly what I wanted to say. But yeah, let's walk away.

If you had said "Nothing special, looked like shit." when you originally mentioned it, this wouldn't have happened. Language bitches, it does stuff.

Yeah, nothing condescending about that statement at all.

Oh and I'm pretty sure something close to it would have happened either way.....

Oh for fuck's sake, BDA. Really? He said both, alright. Take it up with him.

Bloody sorry I mentioned it now.

No.....no.....he said the FX were not that special, that they looked shit. Which I disagree with.

I didn't say anything at all about most films being entirely CG. I was talking about how the film looked. I was talking about CG but what you said about all films being in CG was not my point.

Again, not the point. That has nothing to do with what I was moaning about what the dude was moaning about. Or something.

Oh jeez, really? That isn't really the point, BDA.

I just read on another forum a dude saying the FX in Gravity weren't all that special. Doesn't seem to matter that most of the bloody film was CG and he probably didn't even notice.

Absolutely +1. The Muppets ares great for being able to grow up with them. I'm still going back to the movies and noticing things I didn't, despite the fact I've been watching them since I was really little.

Indeed, me too smile

smile They are great for young kids due to the voices and colours and they don't even have to get a lot of the jokes in the Muppet movies until they are older.

Introduce him to The Muppets as soon as possible, especially Sesame Street, all the colours and songs and stuff are great for kids. Then let him watch the movie Follow That Bird because it is great and not enough people have seen it.

Anyway, if Andy Kaufman is alive, I'm Christopher Lloyd........Oh, I wish I was Christopher Lloyd.

BDA- Nowt wrong with some fan service for fans of the classic series.

  Show
First- regarding the girl, The Doctor was distressed that she'd rather kill herself than be helped by a Timelord. He had tried so hard to avoid the war but ended up causing the death of an innocent anyway. He wanted to bring her back but when he couldn't, this pushed him over the edge. It's not the fact that we saw the regen (we actually, really, didn't) it was the fact that we saw WHY he chose to become the War Doctor, why he chose that path. Second- McGann only had the one movie as the Doctor but he was great, the fact that he was back was fantastic, it was a pretty big deal. I think it is great that they are re-introducing 'older' Doctors, McGann deserved more time in the role. Besides, why should 'NuWhovians' have all the fun? This is the anniversary after all big_smile

I really like Monsters Vs Aliens, it's great fun. Any animated kid's film that ends with Planet Claire by the B-52s is ok in my book.

My Christian neighbour says science isn't real, that it is God who gives us all the ability to do things. She'd say that would mean that that banana is the result of God's work as it was grown by man and therefore, by God.

I saw it in 3D, which I usually do not like but I absolutely loved this film. It was so bloody good.

'Now I have a machine gun. Ho, ho, ho....'  although, not spoken by Willis is more of a badass McClane moment. Yipee Ki Yay is more of a quip.
