Well considering it's not even out yet, I can't really say ho i feel about it. But i am really excited, especially since i don't hate the sequels nearly as much as others do.

Since I hunt clones does that mean we have a showdown?

Naturally.

Nice analysis. Well balanced. It's basically everything I felt about the film: not terrible but kind of dull and convoluted with too much retreading and too many half-efforts at something new.

The only things I'll take minor issue with are:
- Vanko's revenge motive, which seems pretty reasonable to me. I like Vanko in general, actually. He had a sense of humor.
- Black Widow's action scene. Once she finally had something to do in the movie, it was pretty badass.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly, although I could done with a little less Favreau during the fight scene, it was just stupid and way to cartoony. But yeah, Black Widow was pretty badass.

Otherwise, nicely done sir, I enjoyed it. Especially without any sort of nasally voice that drives me up the wall and out the 5th floor balcony within 30 seconds of attempting to put a solid effort into watching it.

You know what, fuck it.

I knew this was bad idea.

You obviously all know what you're doing.

Is the fact he can eat a lot somehow important to the plot? Or am I missing something?

EDIT: I should point out, that I've heard nothing but good things about Thor

EDIT EDIT:

"When I saw the trailer, the part when I really cracked up is when Anthony Hopkins scolds his son for bringing on war," she said. "But Odin in mythology starts wars, creates strife."

Kaplan explained that in Norse mythology, the gods are usually battling the giants. "During these constant battles with giants, Odin creates strife," she said. "But he's not a hand-to-hand combat guy like Thor. Odin's contribution is frequently gathering knowledge and prophecy and magic stuff. His associations are with warfare, strife, poetry and the type of magic that men are not supposed to do."

EDIT EDIT EDIT:As far as the accents, would you rather they spoke in old norse?

Worth a read.

I concur, the show needs to go back to the good ol' days of Fig bashing.

...That would be a great euphemism.

Too late.

It has kinda felt like a running theme of late.

Edit: This one is more targeted to specific panelists than the show as a whole, but I've been noticing a lot of "we hate what you love, now tell let us tell you why you're wrong."

But that one might just be me.

But if they were remade, it would only mean billions of more dollars.

Why remake an entire movie when you can put out special editions and 3D versions and make all that for barely any work at all?

@Holden, maybe it's just me but it seems like quite a few threads have disappeared, I can pin point any in particular, but there's seems to be a lot of threads on the first page I haven't seen in a while.

Since our last thread seems to have vanished from the face of the earth.

Only Doug Jones can pull off creepy as all hell on earth and huggable at the same time.

What DOES surprise me is that the character that most of those people DO like is Knives? Really? I liked the movie, but I found her shrill and annoying. If there was one character I truly hated in the movie, it was her. It just baffles me that people liked her for any other reason than pity.
