I gave up trying to research or involve myself with anything online until I catch up with the books - even the full names and titles of characters given in their wikipedia pages are huge spoilers.
Spoilers don't always mean there's a traditional twist. There are details to the execution that are best experienced first hand.
Or could have been that it was poorly designed and just terrible to use. There are a lot of design compromises that have to be made to get that form factor in a 35mm camera, cost benefit/quality/ease of use probably just wasn't there.
Digital backs are standard in medium format cameras, but their design affords the bulky back end and display needed to make it work, rather than fitting the entire package in the space of two 35mm spools.
Color, sound, and surround are advancements our bodies are developed for. Stereoscopy asks for too much. Humans are capable of, but not built for converging on one point in space and focusing on another, as required by stereo movies. I think that sensory dissonance is the primary thing that will keep it from ever being as important to filmmaking as any advancement* in technology that has a perfect and unhindered analog to real life.
*…like …Smell-o-vision? Fuck. There goes my argument. Any advancement in audiovisual technologies.
PPS: And holy shit the 3DS is the worst. That thing is a tech demo at best. It's embarassing that a screen at that quality and viewing angle was released for public consumption. It's the same problem as I mentioned above, but magnified since our focusing sensitivity over distance is quadratic.

It's the equivalent of moving Mario through a level and jumping over all the enemies, getting to the end and calling it crap. True, it worked but you didn't really play the game.
Mario is a platformer, you still need to jump around and evade and adventure to get to the end successfully, without dying. The point is that it's a shooter, but you literally don't have to shoot to succeed.
Nah, smoking that much weed was a part of his unadulterated character. There was a throw-away line about how him smoking so much was neutralizing all the other chemicals they were trying to get into his system.
Which echoes those lines from the beginning about chemistry fucking up.
The movie was a lot of fun and well considered.
The Angry Molesting Tree was my favorite part of that first elevator foyer shot.
Henchman 21: Do we have souls?
Henchman 24: Yes, but they're not quite souls, but in Earth's general idea, everything has a soul.
Henchman 21: Crap, so I guess we should become vegetarian.
Henchman 24: No, like everything living has a soul, even spinach. You can't win.
Henchman 21: So that's a problem.
Henchman 24: Here's something. You know how people cry about aborting babies because of their soul? Turns out you don't get a soul until you're like one.
Henchman 21: So, weird, one. Really?
Henchman 24: Or maybe six months. I forget. Either way, you're just this little crying, pooing monster blob until you get your soul.
Matt, despite what your mate thinks diet is a huge part of training. You will notice a difference in energy / endurance based on what you've been eating the day before. It's also important for recovery.
Stay consistet, get plenty of sleep, and enjoy the burn (training when you're sore is great if it keeps you moving). Kind of wish I was doing P90x too
also protein.
Everybody knows Canadians can't violence.
An option to disable Minecraft?
Every movie, show, music, $art you experience, from now on, will be:
a) Exhilarating, fantastical, delightful momentary escape, but forgettable, leaving little impression.
-or-
b) labored and challenging, a haunting and frequent topic of meditation, persistent forever in your mind.
Which do you pick? Why?
I want the biggest role you have, and I want to speak only in terms of Space Jam. My understanding of life is framed by Space Jam.
You know how I sound.
But you're a baseball player now!

Dude this is going to be hard enough without driving comps.

Happy to see a strong female protagonist in anything popular, but didn't do anything for me beyond that.
Saw this last weekend, ROCKS. My Nights Are More Beautiful Than Your Days, or Mes nuits sont plus belles que vos jours
IS ABOUT:
A brilliant programmer simultaneously makes a huge licensing deal on a language he had been developing and is diagnosed with a degenerative brain disorder where his mental faculties will slowly regress, then he will die. He meets by chance, falls in love, and immediately offers dinner to [clip above] a beautiful psychic, who when entranced by her husband in her stage show reveals deeply personal information about audience members while speaking in couplets and rhyming meter. He finds great solace in her speech patterns, as the rhyme and meter help him retain knowledge and memories of everyday things that are leaking from him like a sieve. He pursues her to a palatial Monte Carlo resort and casino where she has an extended engagement, where their damaged, hopeless relationship is beset upon by her road crew of family and toxic entertainment industry fuck-ups, while his condition deteriorates.

It's as sad as it is weird and funny on purpose. I WANT A PEAR!
Pretty sure that Legolas wind-up mount I thought existed was a total fabrication.
I think the last one has twice the commentators. If I recall the fifth mic gets kind of shouty. Sorry in advance.
Also, haven't formally expressed on here how much fun it was to get to be around when this feat went down. Was great hanging with everyone known previously, and just as great meeting everyone I only knew until then as head-voices or internet text. You all stand strong in a fond solidarity forged through traumatic experience.
On my way to work this morning the first line from the last song popped into my head and I almost started crying.
Taxonomically adjacent in my weird brain:
