We have the Aussie outback that's close... Bit of a wrong colour though. Should make for an interesting montage at the end but I'm guessing I need to go someplace a bit more impressive for my exit scene than the local Kmart carpark to compete with bloody norway 
Cutting it a bit close but if another Aussie is needed you can count me in,
1: depends on how much i've had to drink, somewhat soft spoken but kinda fast
2: Aussie, more bogan than Dave but not fake like steve irwin
3: Happy doing anything really. not a wacky funny guy by nature though.
4: Depends on the car work has me driving, sometimes an sv6 commodore sometimes a hilux ute

I head out bush reasonably often and know some good places to get good "outback" driving shots
so i missed trying out skype the other week, do i need a premium account or will the free version do?
I'm testing how effective handbraking the PAL DVD using NTSC framerates will be.
let me know how you go with that, i might throw on the dvd and blu ray side by side this weekend an see how they sync up, just got to find my dvd copy

Sounds intriguing, I like the idea and concept, and the kickstarter vid shows that you're serious about making a quality short, so consider me a backer.

cheers for the link mate, combining 2 of my favorite things and made by a fighter... If it comes close to capturing the sensations of being in the ring after a few rounds it'll be a rare project indeed 
bugger it, the dvd drive on my macbook is playing up so having an interesting time trying to get screen caps... little help anyone?

glad to be one of the sad people who stop by daily even if i dont post much but not too up on forum activities. I'm mainly on bike forums and one we have is someone posts a photo of an obscure bike/ place to ride (its a bike travel site) and people guess what it is/where it is. could maybe do something similar posting a screen cap from movies and see who can pick them? preferably not iconic shots as it would be too easy..

its not perfect but i like this movie. not sure if i really want to hear this commentary as previous comments don't give me much hope of an unbiased viewing (the pans labyrinth one still irks me)....

saw this at MIFF this year and loved it. not perfect by any means but it knows what it is and damnit it does it well
Kinda like the tongue in cheek bastard love child of blair witch and cloverfield, not a film for everyone (especially seeing the reactions a lot of foreign films get here..) but worth a watch.

Possibly out of scope, but you can't scroll through the episodes on an iPhone. Not sure if this is a requirement though.

looks like i'm late to the party i'll grab 2010, Riddick, the abyss and team america if it helps. pretty much have DIF on 14-15 hours a day at work 6 days a week so should be able to find a few things
seems kinda sad when i see it typed down...
