Amazon is a weird one, I think their strategy is to run at a loss on paper.
Financials are strong, low debt, pretty sure that even if this fails there will be lower operating expense in that quarter to offset.

I'm taking the first steps on the road to an MBA. I've hit the point in my career where in order to earn more and be more involved in strategy I need some qualifications behind me and a more robust understanding of all the working parts.
Hudson Mohawke. Scottish.
I'm sorry for your loss, John. Thoughts are with you.
This movie should be called Mad Max. There and back again.
Well, that was fucking spectacular.
Gaming at 9am on a Tuesday! Stupid time zones.
I interpret this as "Keep your nerd stuff to yourselves"
I don't have a specific person or thing, but what I would reference is multiple failed relationships
I was not a pleasant young man, but I didn't have particular difficulty in getting into relationships. Each of these failed, but whether it was me or other party who ended things, i always learned something. Usually this something was about the kind of person that I was, and I began to reevaluate my actions and assumptions. Over time I think I've become ... Better.
What skill do you wish you had, but know you won't obtain?
Scientologist. Because, aliens.
What did you want to be when you grew up, and where did you wind up instead?
<Firmly in the "P&P RPG's are serious business" camp>
I would punch nuns to run a 'Borg in a corp war Cyberpunk 2020 campaign with Doty, but given time zones it's unlikely I could join (GMT +10). Also, yes to rifts.
Having spent days, literally, in Cyberpunk 2020 and AD&D, GURPS, Vampire the masquerade campaigns etc, I'd be interested to see how the logistics of this play out.
2 hour sections would be enough - it's not overwhelming to GM, it gives everyone a taste, and you have a week to prepare for the next one.
As someone in totally the wrong time zone I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to join any of these, but I'd be interested to see a recorded stream.
I have several signed first editions. They're now my favourite by default because he touched them, and was sipping banana daiquiri while doing so.

Oh, a documentary about trying to get stuff done when you have young children!
I would like to subscribe to your podcast, Eddie.
I don't know who you think you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long period of trolling. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my podcast go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not email you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will whinge at you on the Internet.
I'm throwing down, Zarban. You know, when I have free time again. Maybe in a year.
