Yeah, we've talked about it in another thread and I posted the teaser trailer in the Cool Trailers thread too. It's the final part of the Wright-Pegg-Frost 'Cornetto Trilogy' that also included Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. I can't wait to see it
I believe the TNG movies are up next. If you turn around 3 times and whisper my name into a mirror I can be summoned to *gulp* defend Generations.
I don't mind Generations, actually.
Me, I'll be around, I want to talk about STID
Welcome to what now?
Cool, can't wait to listen to it
As do I but I am far from a regular. I am just a bored unemployed dude with a lot of time on his hands offering some of said time to record a podcast if I am needed
At the moment, I am pretty much available at any time although after midnight may not suit my neighbours having to hear me talk out loud to myself
You're all wrong, it is the fact that there isn't really a 'What's Wrong With This Picture?' sign on the Enterprise wall.
So my volume was pretty low huh?
Yeah, I should have said something during the show so you didn't think people were ignoring you on purpose, sorry.
Red, you need a camera so you can put your hand up when you want to speak
I heard you a few times and stepped in to let you speak, the problem is you sounded pretty quiet, it was easy to miss you sometimes
Aw, thanks man
I was nervous, I won't lie, and I rambled a bit when I was unsure how to end a sentence and nobody else was talking but that'll improve.
How did I do?
One post and a Karma of ten already, well done
And welcome
So, it's going to be a busy one then
The Motion Picture is one I have seen the least. It bored the shit out of me when I was younger and although I may like it now, I haven't returned to it in years.
Ooh, and there are things to said about that particular moviegram too.....
I'd call it a portable hoozermawozzle.
Or 'smart phone' if you want to use the actual term.
Yeah, I'm in. Is it Google hangout?
For the Doctor himself, I can imagine that his curiosity gets the better of him ("What's gone wrong here?"). But for the companions, who just want to go to the greatest ever theme park or library or honeymoon cruise or Elvis concert or whatever, it's silly.
I think that is what it was, his curiosity/nose for trouble. He sensed that something wasn't right and being the Doctor, he had to dive in. He could have got the kids to safety but I do think the Doctor is arrogant sometimes and thinks he can save them if they get into trouble. You'd think he'd have learned by now.
Not sure but I'm definitely up for being a part of it
(I'll think of suggestions tonight)
I think it was more the delivery I had a problem with but it wasn't a great line to begin with.
And the 30 second version-
Didn't think this week's ep was all that great. The kids were awful, the girl actually says 'put me down, I hate you' to a Cyberman. Ugh.
Matt Smith was awesome, though. as was Warwick Davis.
What about the Monster Squad Van Helsing?
