Oh, they do a bit of Weisz swooning, if I recall correctly.

Uhh, that may have been me. Cause... yeah.

Zarban doesn't even know what our podcast is called.

Mama always told me "If you don't have anything nice to say about the name someone has chosen for their podcast...."

There's going to have to be a new feed. No way around it, really.

Just preparing you guys for that.

Will there be a new Amazon Affiliates link? I'm buying things as fast as I can with that...

...including, but not limited to:

  • an iPad and several accessories discussed previously

  • an Acer laptop

  • multiple boxes of candy

  • a 4-pack of beef jerky

  • several model dinosaurs

  • sculpture armature wire

  • a bucket of plaster

  • a cordless drill

  • a GPS unit

  • several Blu-rays

  • A portable hard drive

  • A vehicle battery maintainer

  • 3 pairs of dress trousers

Make what you will of that list.

Sorry for my complete failure with Google Plus Hangout on the iPad. I had even tested that I could record myself with Recorder Plus in the background, but since Hangout kept denying that the hangout was happening, I never got that far.

Next time: actual microphone and separate recording device.... assuming I can attend during working hours.

I feel like I'm the only person amongst my real life and internet friends that doesn't like Doctor Who. I don't hate it, but I just can't get into it. What do I do, FIYH?

Meh. I'm actually surprised sometimes at how much I like it in spite of the frequent silliness and slapdash plotting. When I look back on Star Trek, it seems preachy and self-righteous by comparison.

But even die-hard Whovians hang their heads when a touching exploration of the madness of Van Gogh is embellished with a giant space chicken.

I didn't think to bring my recording stuff to work again. I need advanced notice!

Maybe I can record on my iPad and use Google+ at the same time.

Is this happening now? Is there a link or something? A code word?

Also, now this...

Okay. Zarban's House of Commentaries is updated appropriately. All download links go to the new domain name, and all participants have the new image as their tag picture. I've changed the ad (feel free to send something new, Teague, or to point me to a JPG URL you control, as discussed at one time).

I've left the entries and quotes as is, just as I did for the Geekza stuff.

Also, now this...

We're also adding an adorable youngster to the cast: our cousin Oliver.

That's a great idea! I haven't wanted to mention it, but [whispers]Teague HAS aged out of cuteness....[/whisper]

Now that the decision is made, I say we start a pool.

I bet $100 American on "Texaco Star Theater".

Google surely finds no other "Down In Fronts" than thyselves?

Exactly. Just rename it Famous Original Teague's Down in Front, and it's all good.

Is that sketch about bad writing, bad acting, or the banality of evil?

Good fun hanging out, gang. Sorry I wasn't prepared to record.

I didn't like the idea of Google HangOut at first, but actually it's pretty cool. It's too bad that the iPad client doesn't support chat, but that's my fault for not bringing my Edirol recorder and also for being at work where I couldn't really participate anyway. I should have given everyone a tour of my office. It's exactly like on Mad Men.

Minus the babes.

Whither Canada?
Owl-Stretching Time
Bunn, Wackett, Buzzard, Stubble, and Boot
It's

The Venus Di Milo Panic Show
The Toad Elevating Moment
A Horse, a Basin, a Bucket and a Spoon

Elementary and Orphan Black are really cutting into my movie-watching time, these days. I might be just about done with Orphan Black. Three episodes in, and it's having to go way out of its way to keep its main character in the dark and yet stop her from just running away.

"Magic Beans Talk", Phi. You see, it's a pun on "beanstalk". A most odious pun, as all puns are, unbefitting a gentleman.
