Sorry for my complete failure with Google Plus Hangout on the iPad. I had even tested that I could record myself with Recorder Plus in the background, but since Hangout kept denying that the hangout was happening, I never got that far.
Next time: actual microphone and separate recording device.... assuming I can attend during working hours.
I feel like I'm the only person amongst my real life and internet friends that doesn't like Doctor Who. I don't hate it, but I just can't get into it. What do I do, FIYH?
Meh. I'm actually surprised sometimes at how much I like it in spite of the frequent silliness and slapdash plotting. When I look back on Star Trek, it seems preachy and self-righteous by comparison.
But even die-hard Whovians hang their heads when a touching exploration of the madness of Van Gogh is embellished with a giant space chicken.
Okay. Zarban's House of Commentaries is updated appropriately. All download links go to the new domain name, and all participants have the new image as their tag picture. I've changed the ad (feel free to send something new, Teague, or to point me to a JPG URL you control, as discussed at one time).
I've left the entries and quotes as is, just as I did for the Geekza stuff.
Good fun hanging out, gang. Sorry I wasn't prepared to record.
I didn't like the idea of Google HangOut at first, but actually it's pretty cool. It's too bad that the iPad client doesn't support chat, but that's my fault for not bringing my Edirol recorder and also for being at work where I couldn't really participate anyway. I should have given everyone a tour of my office. It's exactly like on Mad Men.

Elementary and Orphan Black are really cutting into my movie-watching time, these days. I might be just about done with Orphan Black. Three episodes in, and it's having to go way out of its way to keep its main character in the dark and yet stop her from just running away.
