I am claiming Back to the Future.
Wait........mind blown!
I've never said you should.
And I've never said you said I should.......
I guess I pay extra attention to those things, force of habit... or maybe it's all in my head
Maybe, because a lot of us just don't give a shit about it
I did watch it, I just listened to the DiF comm. She limps up the stairs (she has to use both hands for support) and watch her drag her leg just before Hulk grabs the grate from underneath her.
Anyway, even if I'm wrong and she's not in pain and not limping, I don't see anything wrong with the way she moves in this film. Who says spies have to move in a certain way?
How about dead baby jokes in the Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs comm? I think it was that one anyway.
Oh, I regretted saying I'd do Jaws for Project Halp, that was one where the guys ate into the microphones. A lot.
We can include the glossary and link to which episodes they mention certain parts of it.
But your reasoning for that doesn't hold up giving the example you used. She has a hurt leg when she is running from the Hulk, she is 'limp-running' because she is in pain.
Not disagreeing with you about her in Iron Man 2, though.
I am so happy right now
To be fair, I was asking Doc Sub.
You're the Doc, Doc.....
Ok, so.....who's doing what?
Yeah, I think she's great in The Avengers but Iron Man 2, not so much.
No clue what you're talking about on the running thing. She's running quickly and covering herself from falling debris. How else is someone supposed to run away from a monster?
Plus, she has a hurt leg, doesn't she?
Does all this really matter? It's not going to stop the fact that she is in the films......
The fact that Dana considers shooting Marty for even a second is the best evidence yet that her character was clearly the Fool the whole time. Overall, the finale felt lackluster and more than a little obvious even though they chose to end the world. It takes a special talent to make the end of the world boring.
My theory is this- Dana is the slut. She's not really a nice person but by the time we meet her, things have already started to change. I think that last scene proves that, the fact that she is willing to shoot Marty shows that she's a bitch. As does her delivery of the 'Me? A virgin?' line.
Excellent points, though and well made. If I am enjoying a film, I can overlook minor faults like the ones you listed. I don't think the film is perfect, far from it but as a love letter to horror films I think it is better than most. Thanks for the reply, that was a great read
MLP? (my brain don't work)
EDIT: Got it! It's half 3 in the morning here, give me a break
Yup. About 3 minutes in-
So cool, it gets posted twice on the same page
You know Chris Langham wrote for the Muppet Show and ended up as a special guest once when the original guest (Richard Pryor) couldn't make it.....
And I hope she won't be freaked out by my sci-fi and Winnie the Pooh DVDs either (some women are
Yeh, I'd feel like a hypocrite if I complained about something she had in her dvd collection when I have Hanna-Barbera cartoons, The A-Team TV series, Moonlighting,Magnum PI, Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, Beaches and the 80s Transformers cartoon in mine
I knew a 38 year old bloke with Star Wars posters up in his pad, but chicks don't dig a man-child, so he took them down. Classic slacker plot-line (e.g. Ted)
I don't have posters on my wall any more. I had a framed Pan's Labyrinth poster signed by Del Toro but that fell off the wall and the glass smashed, so now my walls are bare. I actually don't think there's anything wrong with guys celebrating films they love, I think if anyone disagrees with that, it's their problem, not the owner of the posters. It's not as though any of the women who objected to the Star Wars posters were perfect and they shit gold, is it? They should accept him as he is, it's not as though he goes out every weekend and kills small animals, it's only bloody posters!
Cotterpin, may I ask a question? What , in your opinion, are the dumb ideas in the film? I think the film is a clever celebration of all sorts of horror films, it includes the good ideas and the dumb ones that accompanied those films.
I haven't seen 3 in a while but I remember not liking it very much. The second is a Tony Scott film but not really a Beverly Hills Cop one.
So you're on a hot date, things are going well, she brings you back to her place, but then you see 'x' in her Blu-Ray collection. You immediately gather your things and take your leave. What's your deal-breaker? Anything by Eddie Murphy? Uwe Boll? Twilight?
I like early Eddie Murphy films so if she had Beverly Hills Cop, 48 Hours and Trading Places in her blu ray collection, I'd probably high five her
I don't think any film in her collection would cause me to leave. Everyone has different tastes and I accept that. Plus, she'd have to put up all the Stallone/Seagal/Van Damme films in my collection if we made it to my place on the second date, so I think we'd be even.
Although, if she had White Chicks in her collection, I'd actually consider leaving, depends how hot she is
