I remember reading an Indiana Jones script back in high school (10-15 years ago) which had him trying to find Noah's ark or something and there was Hitler's bones... And then another one, or the same one, which had the knights of the round table....Are either of these the Darabont script?
No, The Darabont draft was written in 2003, There was an earlier script for a third film written by Chris Columbus called Indiana Jones and the Monkey King, but that doesn't sound like it.
I know there have been a couple of attempts by wannabe screenwriters who wrote their own scripts and tried to pass them off as legitimate sequel scripts to try and make a name for themselves however.
The 'Social Network' script has popped up online, I'm in two minds about reading it.
I either listen to DiF on a portable mp3 player (which is not an ipod) and doesn't play M4a or I listen to it whilst watching the film (and wouldn't be looking at these pictures) so I'd not be keen on the idea.
I loved what you had to say about ESB, lots of interesting stuff in there about the earlier drafts. Always good to hear Treys comments about seeing these films when they didn't have the backstory they had today.
I don't know if you guys have seen this clip of Ford and Hamill promoting the film including a very early mention of doing prequels. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8czqAf5qek
i've been hearing about this for ages and it sounds great.
but bollocks to you if you don't want to show it.
Why is there no Back to the Future commentary? I'm surprised this hasn't already happened?
Greg, what do you do if you loose your keys?
But now I can say with certainty - until an actual Brit shows up to correct me - that "English" applies only to someone from the actual country of England, while "British" includes Scotland and Wales (which along with England are collectively "Great Britain). So a Scot is British, but not English.
And "The United Kingdom" is all of the above plus Northern Ireland.
That's the jist of it, there are plenty of people who will go out of their way to confuse you by insisting that they are not British when they infact are, due to a misplaced sense of patriotism. "Grrr I'm not British I'm English!"
Scotland and Wales now have their own parliaments, which helps to confuse matters, as well as Scotland having its own bank notes.
