Thirty seven!?!
In a row?
I really like the live shows. Mostly because I get 2 shows a week, rather than just one.
And the interaction is okay too, I guess.
Wow, first I was really happy that you were doing Spider-Man 2 instead of Tron. Now, I'm even happier to see that you're doing Aladdin. The more you're changing your minds, the better it is for me.
I'll be expecting to hear everyone's Gilbert Godfried impressions.
I'm disappointed with Brian for not delivering his lines like Jeff Goldblum.
Looks great though.
1. Romeo and Juliet
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. The Mist
4. Goblet of Fire
5. Little Red Riding Hood (first printed version by Charles Perrault)
Honorable mention to the episode of Fresh Prince in Bel Air where Will's dad is an asshole.
Next: Top five celebrity sex tapes
1. William Somerset
2. Azeem
3. Ellis Boyd Redding
4. God
5. Jack Doyle
Next: Top five settings for a fictional story. Examples of such settings could be 'Middle-Earth', 'the world of Harry Potter' or the 'Buffyverse', to name some personal favorites.
From the website.
Can I just get Eddie doing a commentary on every Batman movie all by himself?
I honestly think that would be my favorite batch of DIF commentaries ever.
That was cool.
I'm amused by how I could actually tell that it was Teague's place, even when the narrator claimed otherwise.
I think I preferred this commentary after Teague calmed down and eventually passed out. It was never bad, but it got a little messy at times.
I guess I'm just not a fan of listening to drunk people when I'm not drunk myself.
Glad to hear the appreciation of Fichtner though, it's always a good time when he shows up. I always first remember him from one of the rare good episodes from the fifth season of West Wing.
So I didn't listen to this one until just now, because I hadn't seen the movie and figured I should see it before listening to the commentary.
After almost two months I 'realized' that I was never gonna find the motivation to actually sit down and watch it on my own, so I just listened to the commentary as I watched the movie for the first time.
The commentary was hilarious and possibly interesting, but I'm pretty much in agreement with Teague. Never really got the appeal of these kinds of movies and this one didn't dramatically change my mind. It's probably too late for me.
Glad I listened to the commentary though...
Love the movie and mostly enjoyed the commentary.
So when the commentary started and Teague said he remembered liking the movie, but hadn't seen it in a few years, I predicted to myself that he'd end up talking himself into being dissapointed with it. Imagine how thrilled I was when I ended up being (sorta) right.
I didn't care for the ten minutes where you went on and on about how fake reality TV is though, because that's really a discussion that got old ten years ago.
Now I hope Trey shows up and expounds on his comments from the Dark City commentary where I believe he alluded to some problems he had with this one.
Oh, and people have not been saying 'fuck' for a thousand years.
What?
Did I misunderstand or are there actually people who don't find Alicia Witt attractive?
What a sad life some people must live...
I'm enjoying this thread.
Don't have anything to contribute since I seem to agree quite a bit with Jeffery on the topic.
But definitely enjoying the thread.
(Black Market was horrible though)
1. Monsters, Inc
2. Toy Story 2
3. Toy Story 3
4. A Bug's Life
5. Toy Story
6. The Incredibles
7. Ratatouille
8. Finding Nemo
9. Wall-E
10. Up
11. Cars
Madine. Obviously.
And I'm pretty sure the first name is Crix, but I only remember that one because I've played Rogue Squadron on the N64 a lot and he was sort of in that one.
Shouldn't he actually listen to himself, since his answer to that was:
"Socialize that shit."
Top five all time female characters
1. Willow Rosenberg
2. Veronica Mars
3. Miss Piggy
4. Scarlett O'Hara
5. Sarah Connor
Or something like that...
Top five songs from animated movies
Or Junior.
....
Never mind me.
My favorite comment from Firefly about Reavers was that they would rape you to death if they managed to take the ship.
I'm just saying...
I like Michelle Rodriguez and I tend to think she got a very unfair reaction from certain fans during Lost season 2.
Still listening to the commentary, but I have one very important comment:
Gilmore Girls was good. Really good.
Except when it eventually became bad.
They did Raiders on Geekza. With horrible audio quality.
So it probably wouldn't hurt to redo it.
That's absolutely part of it. I'm already invested in listening to the regulars and the regular dynamic of the group, so any new participant almost has to win me over.
But I'd also be worried about the commentary becoming too focused on the VFX talk while the discussion about the areas I personally care the most about would suffer.
