I think season 1 of Buffy gets a bum rap. The effects aren't nearly as good, but I don't mind cheesy fx, so maybe that's it.

(and probably enough Buffy talk, hehe)


Loved the commentary, will definitely revisit this one. Serenity is so enjoyable to watch.

One might wonder why it opens "History repeats itself", what history? This is the first time Daniel has been in a karate tourney, right?

Well, the song was originally written for Rocky III, but was dumped, then reused for Karate Kid.

Loved the commentary, and love this movie. I remember seeing it in theaters and going nuts for it (I was about 9 I think).

This is not true considering Season 6 is the 2nd best season of the series smile tongue

Some episodes of season 1 can be skipped, but at least watch Hellmouth/Harvest (I mean missing the frist two episodes of any series is bad form), Witch, then watch Angel and Prophecy Girl, although I do like Nightmares.

(Season 3 is my favorite season btw)

This wasn't discussed in the commentary (which I enjoyed a lot, and it didn't need to be discussed) but I have to ask.

Are stormtroopers clones? I've heard mixed answers to this. When I saw the prequels, I assumed they were, "Oh, huh, so the stormtroopers are clones."

But then I heard they weren't.

Loved this commentary, a lot of fun watching such a bad movie (lucked out, didn't have to buy it, was on cable the other day and I DVR'd it just for the podcast).
