In all fairness, that ninja star must have really hurt and he did seem genuinely surprised that he lost with a gun in his hand.
It was his own fault for monologuing

Anyone seen this found footage horror short on Youtube? There are four of them but it's fine if you just watch this one-
WARNING: Contains violence, horror and English accents.
I've been told I look like Mike from this film. Huh.
My chest hair isn't as bad.
Is that real? Looks like a parody. Anyway, if it's real, I never thought anything would beat this-
They saw Cannibal Holocaust which is enough
My point still stands.
Sorry to be a pendant but Blair Witch wasn't the original found footage film, that was Cannibal Holocaust back in 1980. There were a few inbetween too, with Man Bites Dog being a 'popular' one from 1993.
Blair Witch opened the genre up to more people, though. That is probably down to the viral campaign and the pretence that it was all real.
Why was that dude so mad at Steven Moffat on May 21, 2006?
Because he heard Coupling wasn't coming back.....
The scariest bit was the scene in the tent when you can hear kids laugh. Although, I think that was put in post, so it actually renders it pointless. I knew it was fake going in, I remember watching a film show that had an interview with the directors and they had no problem saying it wasn't real.
I love that gif, his wee frown at the end is great
Anyone see the 'sequel'? It was shit.
I remember the film being a big deal at the time of its release mostly because it was being treated as a true story and was one of the first films to have a viral marketing campaign. It even had its own website that continued the lie that it was all real-http://www.blairwitch.com/legacy.html
It's easy to forget just how much of an impact the film had in this modern age where every film has its own site and a viral campaign. It's hard not to be impressed by it.
"In NBC's Revolution, people are forced to use swords and crossbows because with no electricity, there's nowhere to plug in their guns." --B.J. Porter
Episode two is all about guns, the bad guys have them all and the good guys want to steal them.
You have posted that in two separate threads, Zarbs, does that count as trolling?
In my opinion, Jeepers Creepers is great for about the first 20 minutes then it goes nuts and a bit shite. Oddly, the second film is more fun as it doesn't really pretend to be anything it isn't. It's still shite, but it has Ray Wise, so it wins
I like Freddy vs Jason
Yeah, so do I, but I couldn't resist
I prefer Freddy vs Jason to Jason X.
Keep walking.......
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has unsettling moments but none of it made me jump or look through my fingers. The dinner party scene made me feel uncomfortable but I wasn't scared.
To be honest I don't really find many films scary these days. When I was a kid I found almost everything scary, mabve if I saw it when I was younger I'd feel differently.
I've never found it scary, disturbing yes, but not scary. I don't find The Exorcist scary either.
I'll re-phrase, it's the last film Carpenter made that I personally think is great.
Although Vampires has its moments, I really don't like Escape From LA.
Oh, right. It's basically just one long homage to Lovecraft. Hope you enjoy it when you get to see it
Well, if we're playing "Which 70s Horror Classic Do We Hate?" I have to mention that Last House on the Left is just unbelievably shit.
Aww hells, yes!
It might not be based on any Lovecraft story, but Prince of Darkness is probably the closest thing there is to a competently made Lovecraftian movie.
I would have said In The Mouth Of Madness more so as it actually pays tribute to Lovecraft. And it's a very underrated film, in my opinion. I'd also say it's the last great film Carpenter made.
Sky TV in the UK put together this pretty genius trailer for their 007 channel that starts next month-
I thought Remo Williams had one too
Ah, now I'm going to be an Opposing Olly and say I don't like the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre. That is one film I never got the appeal of
(but, yeah, it's still better than the remake)
You're welcome Dodgson
