GHOSTBUSTERS, hands down.  Runner up is THE LAST DRAGON.

No joke, I'm sometimes taken out of his comedy roles because he's in such good shape.

Why would I want to watch a movie, but not want to watch a movie?

I just want to point out that Crix Madine has the kinkiest beard I've ever seen on a white dude.

I would agree that Seinfeld is probably one of my favorite "things" ever. Definitly needs a watch, I would start with "The Bet". Also that coffee shop (not actually called Monks) ... nooot so great.

It's called "Tom's Restaurant", and it was pretty decent as a greasy spoon diner before Seinfeld came along.  Then they got all fancy.  The last time I went in there was probably about 10 years ago for a drunken meal after a night out.

Seinfeld might be the greatest sitcom ever made.  The only show that even rivals it is The Cosby Show.

Aside: I saw effects wizard/actor/stuntman Tom Savini in a comic book/video/music shop in Pittsburgh yesterday. I didn't say hello because I wasn't sure until I looked it up that he's from Pittsburgh and because I hear he bites. Any DIFers know him personally?

I don't know him well, but I gaffed a movie he was in about 5 years ago. Friendly enough, always said hello to me.  I ran into him at Fangoria last year (he sells random shit at conventions, and they were premiering the trailers for 2 movies I shot), and we chatted for a minute.

A SFX make-up artist I'm friends with had a bad run in with him once, but I don't remember the story.

Top 5 terrible movies you saw because of a girl you were dating.

Going off the AFI List...

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962) -- This is just a movie I should have seen by now.  There's nothing I don't like about Peter O'Toole and Alec Guinness riding drunkenly around the desert.

SEARCHERS, THE (1956) -- I know it's a classic, but I'm just not a John Wayne fan.

ALL ABOUT EVE (1950) -- This movie has been sitting on my shelf for years.

DOUBLE INDEMNITY (1944) -- There's no excuse for my not having seen this, considering how much I enjoy Billy Wilder's movies.

BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967) -- I've wanted to see this for a long long time.

SHANE (1953) -- I was supposed to watch this as reference for a movie I shot, so I just told them I had.  Embarrassing!

4. Famke Janssen. Do you guys remember the "Star Trek" episode she was in? True story. It was 1992, I was nineteen years old, and oh. My. God. Look at her in that, then look at a picture of her taken forty-five seconds ago. Stuffed in some attic somewhere is a painting of her that's getting uglier and uglier.

Yeah. The painting is titled "The Way Famke Janssen Interacts with Other Human Beings -- 2006".

I hated Cloverfield so hard. I kinda hope the crew likes if for some crazy reason and can get me to a little.

I actually kinda liked Cloverfield if that means anything.

I'm a big fan of Cloverfield...

... Aside from all the geographic inconsistencies.  It's really not that hard people.  Just try even a little.

By "more efficient", they mean "better at hunting you".

Also, the line near the end "... Allows for safe human interaction with possibly dangerous robots" is one of the most unintentionally hilarious things I've heard in a while.
