My understanding after visiting there was that it was Edinburr.
Yeah, that's how it sounds like it is pronounced by someone with a Scottish accent. If you know what I mean.
Plus, we usually 'Scottish' up our words, even names of towns. Glasgow is often pronounced 'Glesgae'. and a small town close to me is called Ravenstruther but we pronounce it 'Rainstrae'
No worries. I wasn't planning on it. Edinburrah, huh? That's how I've been pronouncing it. Had no idea it was correct.
Then, you are full of win
The first time I heard 'Edinburrow' was on a Simpsons commentary. Both Matt Groening and Dan Castellaneta pronounced it that way. On seperate occasions.
Back to Slither.
Indeed, it's great
He pronounced it, like I've heard many of you gorgeous Americans* pronounce it- Edinburrow. It's actually pronounced- Edinburrah. Nitpicky, sure, but it does sound different. And, pfffft, those English and their wrong words, huh?
*I am aware, The Fillion is Canadian, before Pav corrects me
I've been a fan of Fillion since his stint on Two Guys And A Girl. I knew he was in Firefly but I never saw it for a while, so I actually saw him in Buffy first. I knew Serenity was coming out so I bought the Firefly dvds and watched the whole lot in a weekend. I missed the chance to see Whedon host a Serenity showing at the Edinburgh film festival that year so I paid to see it in the cinema. I also saw Slither and White Noise 2 at the cinema......
Fillion is one of my man-crushes, I don't mind admitting it. Although, the way he pronounced 'Edinburgh' in this weeks Castle episode annoyed me, somewhat
Consider yourself blamed, Eddie.
Although, you lot don't actually owe us anything, you're entitled to weekends off.
A Descent commentary could be interesting since Mike doesn't like it much (if I recall). Don't know about the other guys.
That video is so fucking awesome it is unreal! Love the new site and thanks for the mention in the vid.

Yeah! in yo face Shifty Bench! =P
1. Apparently we are in a competition with each other nobody told me about.
2. It's not Shifty any more, Jimmy is fine
"White Lines" is a Duran Duran song, I'm assuming sampled by Funk Master Flash.
Wrong way round, actually, the Duran Duran version is a cover of the Grandmaster Flash song.

Last Crusade was my first introduction to Indiana Jones, so I always enjoyed it the most. Even though, the whole General Veers turning in to a skeleton freaked me out for the longest time.
Sallah never bothered me, but Marcus seemed to be tacked on to Last Crusade. He was no longer the more academic one-he was used more for comic relief.
As is Sallah. In Raiders, he is a bit of a big shot (he tells the captain of the boat he will hear of it if his friends are hurt) yet in Crusade he's a numpty who doesn't know what a tank is called. I agree Brody is treated worse though, the head getting knocked of his statue in Crystal Skull is quite insulting in my opinion.
Crusade was the first Indy film I saw in the cinema and is my second favourite after Raiders (though it is quite close).
That mag spread is all kinds of awesome! Mandy is rocking that beard Also, I love the ROUS at the table full of food. And the photo of Andre is a sweet touch. Is that Peter Falk in the other photo behind Cary?
Ok, I think we can all agree that Fireproof should be banned, yeah?
Just kidding. I love Last Crusade despite what they did to Marcus and Sallah. And what they do to Marcus in Crystal Skull is far more insulting. To both actor and character.
This is what a Tarantino pitch is like-
I second the "Film Scores" idea. What are some examples of great/terrible ones, what makes a great score, etc.
And I third it. I'm a huge film score fan.
Bloodsport
This. And Kickboxer. And Double Impact. And Death Warrant. And almost all of Van Damme's early stuff, though Cyborg is beyond bad.
I have never seen Citizen Kane or Casablanca. I feel as though I have though with all the spoofs and whatnot. I feel The Simpsons may have spoiled them for me.
no no no no no no no no no
Is that your best Shia impression, Teague?
Great podcast, guys. Gave me a few things to think about the next time I'm crying over one of my unwritten scripts
Death Proof is dull, Planet Terror is fun.
And that is all I shall say on the subject
It's 7pm Scotland time too, how about that? Shame I won't be able to join the live show this week.
And Spiderman 3 is shite
I'm confused as to why any of that could be seen as racist.
Although, I have no clue what Pav was saying in the chat.........
