I don't have a video camera to prove to you, I'm afraid. My webcam is fecked but I'll prove it to you somehow...
Ok, and I'll admit, I had to look up what 'impertinent' meant.

Limey fruits!
Limes are fruits. Well done
Miki- Like in the movies where every house in London or Paris has a landmark outside the window? I live in a small town in Scotland, so farms and trees are all I've got. Oh, There's a sign that signifies where William Wallace's house once stood, I can do a photo of that*
*my hometown is mentioned in Braveheart, I was so proud when I first saw that film in the cinema
I am a Scot, but Scotland is in Britain
I feel that DiF aren't going to please everyone regarding recording times. If they record a show later then folk in the UK will be up late too. Sunday's show finished at 1.15am for me, it would be worse if they started later. Though, maybe they should once and a while so people from other countries can benefit.
I mean, after all, there are always the podcasts. If they are actually released
Yes.
Or is it...?
Yes, yes it is.....
Funny you should mention that, Faldor, I've got cash sitting on my account for stuff I traded in to Cex (a UK site for our American friends) and I am seriously considering getting The Rock on Blu Ray for £8 ( I have £9 on my account). It's that or Con Air actually, nice wee coincidence that this conversation came up
I also love The Rock
In fact, either would be good for a commentary, I think there is more cheesy over-the-topness in Con Air, if that makes any difference. Probably not, but it's worth a shot......ooooh, double feature
Welcome Miki
We spoke briefly on the chat earlier, I'm still trying to think of a way to prove I'm British
Figures, I love Shoot Em Up but am kinda meh on Hot Fuzz.
I enjoy them both very much.
There's a bad edit in Poltergeist that isn't even covered up. When Diane is explaining to a freaked out Steven how it feels to be dragged across the kitchen floor, the camera focuses on his reaction to what she is saying. It then suddenly cuts to them outside their neighbours house and we catch her mid-word. It is quite jarring and noticeable since we go from her speaking inside directly to her finishing a different sentence outside. When I saw it on tv years ago, I thought bad language was cut from it. It is the same on the Blu Ray version I own.
I looked for a clip online but found this explanation of it that is worded better than my feeble attempt- http://www.dvdtalk.com/dvdsavant/s20jc4polter.html
Things I like about V For Vendetta-
Stephen Fry
Street Fighting Man by The Rolling Stones (love that song)
Ummmmmm....that's about it.
Haven't seen Strange Days yet, going to watch that tonight.
Cool, thanks, man. I'll buy it on Sunday morning.
Sorry for putting you on the spot
Sorry to ask this, but I have a reason- are we getting a live show this weekend and if so, what day? My reason is, I pay for the internet per day at my flat (it's a wifi thingy) so I just want to know what day I should start it, once I start, I have 24 hours and I can't stop it. If you get what I mean.
Sorry again, guys, just need something to do this weekend

As a man who loves Howard the Duck, I don't have the righteous high ground to judge anyone.
Very true. I love Little Monsters, The Golden Child and Tango & Cash, so I can't judge anyone either*
*which I would never dream of doing anyway, people can love whatever film they want to.
That's spot on, Mr. F.
And it is perfectly fine to like bad movies, I love action movies from the 80s and a lot of them are 'bad'. And by ' alot' I mean 'most'
Exactly and it's not as though Riddick is a prequel. Although, I'm not sure it would make any more sense if it was as both films still seem to take place in different realities.....
The biggest error you made is watching Pitch Black first, and trying to make a connection.
But Pitch Black is the first film, Riddick is it's sequel. How were they supposed to watch it? Riddick first? That makes no sense. If you watch a sequel to a film that totally changes the tone (and even the genre) of course people are going to try to make the connection.
Oh, look, the discussion hasn't ended after all........
Oh, yeah, they did UHF, didn't they? Forgot about that one. They've still got a few stored away that are yet to be released.
Of course! Duh
(I forgot you guys did Jaws actually and the least said about Spiderman 3 the better)
If that were the case, they've still to record Gremlins 2, the rest of the Star Trek films (including the ones before the sixth that they recorded for), the rest of the Hannibal Lector series, the Jurassic Park sequels, The Fly 2 and Die Hard 2-4
I'd rather hear "this episode is brought to you by shifty bench's pocket money"
I wish I still got pocket money
That's a good point, Fixed. I feel a bit of a tool supporting a service a lot of forum members (including myself) can't even use.
I had a blonde-guy moment......that has lasted a few months
Yeah, I've been saying that for a while, using Netflix. Well, I say a while, I mentioned it in the chatroom on the 2nd anniversary show and never mentioned it again
It's a good idea though and if I can afford to sponsor an ep, I shall.
