The entire forum races to Wikipedia!

That said, given that Tammy Tell Me True was the second in the franchise, I maintain that it should have been called Tammy Tell Me Two.

Cube in a double-feature with Exam? Both are small-budget thrillers involving people locked in a room.

Okay, but that still doesn't fix the plot hole because, as you said, the bomber doesn't die in the train. I'm structuring this argument based on the rules that the movie originally sets up, not the crazy bullshit that it pulls at the end.

Hey, there are some big problems, but it's still entertaining enough.

I just watched Source Code again. I know I've made some hay about it in the past, specifically about the ending, but I found some more big problems. Here's the biggest one.

Colter is experiencing the last eight minutes of Sean's life. Because of this, it makes sense that he can wander around the train and talk to people, as Sean would have experienced that. I'll even give it to the movie that Colter can formulate areas that Sean didn't enter, like the train station. But how could he possibly have found the bomb? Sean didn't know where it was, and Colter was working only with his experience. So how could the Source Code have simulated the location of the bomb?

Here's an easy fix: Just say that the Source Code pulls from the brains of everyone on board the train, or maybe just everyone in that car. They can only put Colter into one body, so they choose Sean because science science science blah. Then you have a space constructed from the shared experiences of all of those people, and since one of them is the bomber, Colter can find the bomb.

Again, I just watched the movie for a second time, and I'm almost positive that they never address this plot hole.

EDIT: Also, did they ever explain why it's necessary for the person entering the Source Code to be inches from death? I remember them saying that they could replace Colter with "someone with similar injuries to yours," but why? Why can't anyone just go in?

And why is Jeffrey Wright playing the role like he's doing a trailer voice-over the whole time?

Oh yeah. Fixed now.

Anyway, here's something that bugs me a little. Let's say that I'm in the 'Release' column. I scroll halfway down. Then I switch columns. The scroll bar doesn't change, and I'm halfway down the next column.

It's the unpause point in each ep, so you can time it right. Or just skip right there, if you're THAT kind of person

Oh yeah, I heard about the first one. That's one's real for sure. Unfortunately. As for the second one, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Did some research, and guess who composed the film Twisted Nerve? None other than the master of suspenseful film scores, the man who did Psycho and Vertigo, Bernard Herrmann.

I don't always read long posts, but when I do, I skim them. And then get corrected and go back and read it again.

The blog link still goes to the old blog with the old layout, and the about link isn't working for me either, but hey. Beta.

Those are the only bugs I've seen so far, mostly because I've been sitting here just appreciating how great it looks. My favorite thing is the new episode-sorting system. EDIT: However, when I scroll to the bottom of the sidebar, the link at the very bottom is partially hidden and it can't be clicked.

FURTHER EDIT: An "Important Movie" is coming, eh? Can't wait!

Funnily enough, the reason that I know that is because it was a big plot point in the short-lived TV show Jericho. A bunch of people roll into town pretending to be Marines, and the mayor sniffs them out because they respond to his hooah.

*sigh* I kinda miss that show.

Either he's about to pass away, or the new iPhone sucks so bad he doesn't want to be associated with it. And I'm betting it's not the latter.

I think we need to start preparing ourselves for a world without Steve Jobs in it. Not that we haven't been doing that ever since he was diagnosed with cancer, but still. I'm a PC guy myself, but I'm very happy with my iPod. Jobs clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to product, and it'll be a sad day when he goes.

Starship Troopers:

00:07:22 - 00:08:12: It's a satire! Includes talk about how the Bush years have helped us understand how funny the movie really is.

00:13:48 - 00:13:59: Rue McClanahan or Rick Astley?

00:29:56 - 00:30:49: Trey talks about the censored cow-mutilation scene, and how there is no uncensored version, regardless of whatever the internet says.

Little Shop of Horrors:

00:12:00 - 00:12:42: The trio of girls as Greek Chorus, and how that sold Frank Oz on the film.

00:16:03 - 00:16:50: The rather silly idea of a flower shop on skid row.

00:44:46 - 00:46:05: Trey talks about puppet lip-sync (and takes a moment to take one last swing at Phantom Menace).

01:18:50 - 01:19:09: Dorkman and Brian talk about how an Audrey II moment feels like it was improvised. Trey mentions how puppets can't improvise, and how a rig was built for all of those little moments.

I thought it was great! Now, as someone who knows essentially nothing about visual effects, I'm not sure how much this will mean, but the whole thing looked really, really good. Well done!

For something that ostensibly takes place pre-GLaDOS takeover, the environment doesn't feel nearly as sleek as it should be. But the effects are pretty awesome.

00:16:56 - 00:17:36. The first-ever mention and discussion of magic beans.
00:34:04 - 00:34:42. "I was holding down my girlfriend while George Lucas raped her."
