Cloverfield is great, I don't think it can be called 'bad' at all. Christ, I love films like Tango & Cash and Little Monsters. One of my favourite action films is Commando, for crying out loud
Cloverfield is a masterpiece compared to them

Star Trek IV is about... not pushing humpback whales to extinction
It's an important subject and like I said, it was a 'comedy episode' which is why I give it leeway. Besides, ST V is about religion and it's shit, moan about that
It's a silly movie. Its main goal is to make the audience laugh.
That doesn't make it a Star Trek movie.
How would you define a Star Trek movie? What sort of film is a Star Trek film supposed to be? If you look at the movies as extended episodes of the show,ST IV is like The Trouble With Tribbles. I can't fault the producers to want to make a more light-hearted film after WOK and SFS
The show had comedy episodes, you know
I have only ever seen the lesbian scene of Mulholland Drive.....
Indeed it is, he was an associate producer on ST IV, or something like that. A further interesting note is that Thatcher wrote and performed the punk song that is playing in the scene. It is called 'I Hate You'
Oh god, that movie is so dumb. I do not understand why people like it.
You don't have to understand it, mate, it's called 'personal taste'. The world would be a dull and boring place if we all liked the same shite.
I think The Voyage Home is great. I'm not a huge Star Trek fan but I enjoy a lot of the movies. I even think The Search For Spock is under-rated.
Hey, I didn't say Beldar was lying.....ok, now it's awkward
ooooooh, awkward......
I saw PF in the cinema. It is rated 18 in the UK and I can't rememebr if I saw PF or The Crow (also an 18) when I was 17 (naughty). I then saw the other film (whichever came second) for my 18th birthday.
If you get what I mean
I couldn't watch them, I don't have Sky tv here in the UK. Not that I would have anyway, it's a load of predictable tosh.
That rug is all kinds of awesome
Twilight-
Bella's Lullaby was written by Carter Burwell, not Robert Pattinson. They re-shot the initial piano scene after Burwell joined the production so Pattinson could learn it.....The story behind it can be found on Burwell's site- http://www.carterburwell.com/projects/Twilight.html
(this was taken from another post of mine, I put it here as requested by Teague, not trying to step on anyone's toes )
Isn't it Walter Murch?- http://www.amazon.com/Blink-Eye-Revised … 1879505622
If not, Eddie can correct me and point out what an idiot I am, later
A Finifter is a measure of hatred
Matt, you are the motherfucking man!
I'm going to get my sister to listen to this commentary, she loves the Twilight movies. And the books.
Were you a zombie extra in SotD, Faldor?
Brittany Murphy (Don't Say A Word)
I watched A.I. for the first time so I can listen to the comm and what a mess of a film it is. Far too long, the last 20 minutes are like watching the deleted scenes on the dvd straight after the film.
Teddy is fucking awesome, though. I want one!
Peter Sarsgaard (Boys Don't Cry)
Hey, you guys should do Raiders of the Lost Ark.....
What? Whaddya mean live show? Dammit!
It's Kathy Bates
Roger Moore
It's not something I haven't heard before (not even on this forum)
I thought Zarban's comment was funnier, no offence Invid
